My place. :)

So yesterday and today were really crazy. Yesterday, six of my sister's friends and Ian all came over. Jenny's friends spent most of the time playing video games. Ian tried playing super smash bros. melee for the first time and somehow came in second place among a bunch of kids that had all played at least several times before. We also jumped on the trampoline, played music, and went for a walk, which was nice. The only issue was the we had to go outside every once in awhile because Ian is severely allergic to cats. Today my friend Becca came over, and we played DDR and watched a movie. The we dropped Becca off at her other friend's house and dropped Jenny off at the fire department. We then went out shopping for some stuff my parents needed. Now I'm sitting in the living room watching the news. It's been about three years since they captured Saddam and they're finally going to hang him.

You dropped Jenny off at the Fire Department?

Yup. She works there as an EMT on Friday nights.

LOL. That explains it. LOL

Sounds like you all had such a great time. Poor Ian being allergic to cats. There is a good side, you got some cold, fresh air every so often. LOL

Yeah, it worked out okay though because the piano is on the front porch, so he played piano and talked about music until his fingers were too numb, and then we went back inside. :P Today was the last get-together at the airport, which is officially closed as of Jan. 1st. Everyone's really sad about it, because there aren't many good places to fly around here.

:o :o :o :o :o

Which airport are they closing? I always hate to see great general aviation airports close.

I am bored out of my mind right now. Mom wasn't feeling well this morning, so we didn't go to church. :( At the moment, I'm burning all of my cds to my new hard drive. My mp3 player doesn't seem to be working properly, since it fell off my desk a couple of weeks ago. :( Oh well. Tonight we're planning on going out to dinner and seeing a movie for New Year's. At least that should be entertaining. :)

There is a new type of flooring on the market, kind of like memory foam. It protects everything you drop. Easy on the joints too! And just in case you fall asleep on the floor, you don't feel awful and stiff when you wake up. You feel great and refreshed, just as if you had taken a nap on your bed. Great Stuff!!!! Had you had that flooring, your MP3 player would still be working.

I do hope your mother feels better. What movie do you plan on seeing? I still want to see Happy Feet, but I am certain it is gone. This usually happens. :(

They're closing Griswold Airport in CT. It was on a bunch of the local news stations last night. We're probably going to see Casino Royale, the new Bond movie. Happy Feet is so cute! ^_^ It might still be in a couple of theaters. I would love to have that type of flooring! I've been wanting to see it made since they first started having us use glasswear in science class in 6th grade.

It is really sad. I have been to that airport. It has been around for 75 years I believe.

I do wish that flooring was in existence outside of my mind. LOL

Hopefully, I can still find Happy Feet. TGHL is a Bond guy and probably wishes that they were showing the movie in England.

It is sad. It's going to be developed into some adult living place. It's never going to work though, because the buildingd are going to sink into the ground.

Yaaaaay Thursday! ^_^ My sister had three of her friends over today, but they left to go for a walk. Youth group is tonight, which makes me really happy, and I visit my high school tomorrow, which should be fun. And we're getting pizza for dinner! ^_^ Last night I got to experience the insanity that is trying to have 3 IM conversations at the same time.

So seeing everyone was fun today. Our school seems to be holding together a bit better than it was last year, which is good. My friends were all as happy to see me as I was to see them, and I even ran into some of my friends that graduated that were visiting as well. My teachers were happy to see me alive and well and doing well in school.

You're a poet, and you didn't even know it.:P Yeah, they were all like "Well of course you did well, we all knew you would." Although about mid-semester, I wasn't too sure about that. Yet somehow I managed to pull off a 3.6-something, so I was happy about that. ^_^

I thought so, but it's a bit too chilly today. I got to go to church today, which was nice. Getting up at 7am so we'd have time to pick up my sister's friends; not so much. But church was still fun. I went to Sunday school with the high school kids. The lesson was on being content with what God does and lets happen to us, because He has a plan and a rason for everything. I thought it was kinda funny, because the idea of God having a reason for everything and not worrying and obsessing over stuff has been a common theme in my life the past couple of months. Interesting. My sister's friends are still here. They're watching the third Lord of the Rings movie in the living room, and my dad is putting new wheels and brakes on the ultralight. And I'm here. :P

Wow God is funny and amazing and yeah...wow. Hahaha. Okay, so I was talking to Carlos online about lots of stuff, it was kinda like a mini-counseling session. We were talking about how we're both in love with people that God says we can't be with (he's worse off, 'cause the person he loves is a guy, so he's got no hope there unless one of them gets a sex change or something). So I was telling him about how it's hard, but I have to trust God's plan for my life, even if it's not what I would have done. And because it's God's plan and not mine, I can be at peace about it. Just then a song came up on my computer about trusting God. So I told him about this and sent him the lyrics. So we were both amazed about that and finding it amusing when who else IM's me but Ian! Who I just got done telling Carlos the whole story about! I was laughing at that point. Soooooo wierd. And now do you know what I'm talking to Ian about? Trusting God (in response to him asking questions about my "waiting" poem that I posted on a networking site). So yeah, God has me thoroughly amused right now.

Not sure if I mentioned this before, but right after that, my computer started playing "it is well with my soul." And Wooooow....this keeps getting better and better. My cousin Danny just IM'd me talking about how things happen for a reason, and about how there are so many strange coincidences leading to him being with his girlfriend. So I told him my story thus far, and also told Ian about Danny's IM...

Right after that, Daniqua commented on the poem I wrote, saying, "WOW!! Def feeling this alot so dont down play yourself! Maybe its only because i can relate but w/e the reason God put the words in your heart and you shared them with us which is what he wants. You def helped at least one soul or touched at least one heart and thats all that matters!! thanks for posting this Terry!! ttyl"

After this, I decided that this was all so strange, I should post the story of what happened in a note. So when I got up this morning afternoon I told mom about all that had happened. When I went back into my room, Ian had just been online. This is all sooo strange...

So yesterday I didn't get up until like 3 in the afternoon. Although we had a really nice dinner (chicken, stuffing, and corn) and that made me happy. ^_^ Today was dull. I was up until about 4am last night talking to Ian, but I decided to get up at a reasonable hour today (about 12pm). And it's dull around here on the boards too because the boards seem to be lacking the presence of a certain hamster-mod... Other than that, I talked to Ian for awhile on AIM today. He was annoyed because these random girls he's never met before keep IMing him and asking him if he's single and whatnot. It's really funny, because he gets so offended because he knows the only reason they ask is because they think he's good looking. (of course it doesn't help that he calls everyone "dear" and posts love poems on his profile and tells everyone he loves them  ) Like take this, this was a note he posted on a networking site a little while ago:

"In the course of the next few months, I will be taking medieval and renaissance poetry and lyric (mostly troubador literature) from various manuscripts, translating them, and rendering them into English verse.

Most of them have never been seen before the English language, and it is a shame that the English world shouldn't have access to some of the most beautiful poetry ever written. For each poem, I will notate the approximate year it was written, the language which it is in, and when it is know, the author of the original poem. Comments would be appreciated. Please enjoy!

By Thoinot Arbeau, circa 1525 in Middle French. Rendered and translated by Ian.

Every Night

Every night thou art beside me,

In a sweet and pleasant dream.

Yet every day thou art denied me,

And darkest night the day may seem!

Then come, O come again, fair night!

Which ever more than day I prize.

Besides in thee, there is no light,

Sleep out the day, O my poor eyes,

And he wonders why he has so many girls stalking him...

So, my mom woke me up to look out the window because it was snowing. And it was so pretty, and I was like "yay snow! *yawn*" But then the sun came out while it was still snowing, and it was one of the prettiest things I've ever seen. It was like millions of pieces of glitter all coming down. Yeah, just thought I'd share that. ^_^

lol She woke me up. There was no way I was actually going to climb out of my bed (which is lofted) and go all the way across the room to get a camera. Besides, the picture wouldn't have come out anywhere close to the real thing.

So, I just found out that my grandpa's thyroid cancer returned, only this time in his spine. o.O But apparently they're going to operate on it, which should take care of that. And then he has nearly full blockage in one of his corotoid arteries (on of the big ones in your neck that brings blood to your brain). He's kinda lucky on that one though. Everyone has two corotoid arteries, and in most people, each one supplies blood to one half of their brain. But grandpa's arteries both supply both blood to both halves, so instead of one side being completely shut down, both sides are still getting blood flow, only not as much as they're supposed to. So yeah, please pray for him to have a full recovery...

I had no grandfathers as of 4th January o_O

And before that, I only had one O_o

Either way, I hope he lives ^_^

Aw, I'm sorry. I just got back from NJ, and found out more about Grandpa. They did a full body CAT scan, and apparently, the cancer is everywhere, so it's not looking good. They're still going to operate in Tuesday to remove the cancer in his spine. The rest of the cancer they're going to try to remove with chemo. (optimistically, the cancer, although spread throughout his body is still thyroid cancer, which usually responds well to chemo, so he has a chance, although I'm not clear on how good of a chance it is.)

Cancer everywhere? Man. Good luck to all of you. I don't know all the technicalities, but I do know that 'he has a chance' is a good thing to be hearing >w<

Someone I don't know well, but my mother did, died of some other form of cancer. I dunno. It wasn't everywhere but it does have something to do with the discussion, so I thought I'd post it. xD

Good news: Grandpa's surgery went well, and he's expected to be able to go home by Friday. The growth they removed was in fact thyroid cancer, which is good news, because the rest of it *should* respond to chemo. :)

That is good to know. I'm glad that it is going well.

Ah so much going on! I'm going back to college tomorrow (er...today... ) And of course I'm still not done packing. We celebrated my birthday yesterday, and I got a GPS (actually, I got the display model by accident, without any electronics in it, but we were able to exchange it for a real one  ), so that was cool. :) And today I went to a youth group thing at the rec center, which was fun. It was nice to see that Kenny has a bit more self-confidence than he used to, it makes me feel a bit more encouraged for his sake. And now I'm talking to Ian on IM, and I just wrote a new poem, because both of those things are more entertaining than packing for college.

Just checking because you know how I miss things... you celebrated your birthday because you were home, not because it was the actual day. Your birthday is on the 27th, is this correct? I just did not want to miss it. :)

I don't have that song on my games. :( I think my sister does though. We had an impromptu DDR party in the lounge last night, which was fun. A couple of my friends were doing standard, and one of them, Christina, was really good at it. Oh, and before that, we made a furniture fort in the third floor lounge. I might post the pictures later.

Nothing can beat a good furniture fort.

I play DDR when I can. The only downside being that I can't most of the time. But when I do, I do When The Saints Come Marching In a lot because it changes tempo, which rocks so much because it gets so confusing >w<

Hahaha okay. :P Yeah, usually my parents overnight stuff to me, not sure why they're doing it differently this time, and with a cell phone of all things. Not like I talk on the phone anyways. Most of my communication is in person or online anyways. So today after dinner, Marius, Brennan, Derek, Jackie, and I all went for a walk, and ended up going down some dirt road we'd never seen before. We turned back when Marius and Jackie said they were a bit nervous and turned back first (it was dark out, but there was a decent enough amount of light from the moon and such). It was fun though. :) Speaking of Marius, he told me to download and listen to this song "this modern love" by Bloc Party. These were the lyrics (slightly edited for language):

To be lost in the forest

To be cut adrift

You've been trying to reach me

You bought me a book

To be lost in the forest

To be cut adrift

I've been paid

I've been paid

Don't get offended

If I seem absent minded

Just keep telling me facts

And keep making me smile

Don't get offended

If I seem absent minded

I get tongue-tied

Baby, you've got to be more discerning

I've never known what's good for me

Baby, you've got to be more demanding

I will be yours

I'll pay for you anytime

You told me you wanted to eat up my sadness

Well jump on, enjoy, you can gorge away

You told me you wanted to eat up my sadness

Jump right

Baby, you've got to be more discerning

I've never known what's good for me

Baby, you've got to be more demanding

Jump left

What are you holding out for?

What's always in the way?

Why so darn absent-minded?

Why so scared of romance?

This modern love breaks me

This modern love wastes me

Do you wanna come over and kill some time?

Tell me facts, tell me facts, tell me facts

Tell me facts

Throw your arms around me

Any thoughts on that one? Marius knows about the whole not dating outside of my faith thing, and he seems to have been acting a *bit* differently toward me lately. But the difference is one of those that is so slight that it could very well be a figment of my imagination.

Or you could be very perceptive. :)

Perhaps you should remain open to whatever might happen. :)

As for overnighting... I sure hope your parents use FedEx and not the brown guys.

Ah, sorry I haven't been on in a few days, it's been kinda busy. Most of you probably know my birthday was yesterday, so I'm 19 now. It was lots of fun. The first half of the day I took a CPR, AED, and First Aid certification course. After that I took a nap, and then went grocery shopping with some friends. When we got back, Ian was there, and he gave me a very pretty white rose. ^_^ Then we ate dinner, and made a funfetti cake. 'Cause we're cool like that. A bunch of my friends went to see a hypnotist comedian that was on campus. When they came back, we watched some stupid movies, such as Santa vs. the Martians. :D When I finally went to sleep, it was nearly 4am.

Yesterday after class, we went shopping. We're planning a trip to FL over spring break, so we went looking for swimsuits at Target. And I actually found one I like! *gasp* I also got some much needed socks, and raspberry hershey's kisses. ^_^ We got back just in time to watch Heros in the lounge. Then I did some homework, talked online, went outside because people can't cook taylor ham and set off the fire alarm, and then went to play DDR in the lounge again. ^_^ And today is Tuesday, which means mass insanity with the classes.

Hahaha. Two problems: 1. I don't know where you live. 2. My parents would probably ground me for life (even though I'm at college, they'd find a way). :P So today, I had music and society. I love that class. The teacher is hilarious, and seems to have a brain! I spent a good part of the evening playing with a slinky I got at the dollar store, and found out that it works on the stairs that go to to laundry room, but not the normal stairs. I think Marius has it now. He was also thrilled when I gave him lego gummies (yes, they make such things). And Kevin seems really moody today. I'm pretty sure he's going to break up with Christina. (Saw that one coming a loooong time ago). He never spends time with her. I'm closer to my guy friends than they are to each other. And she's such a sweetheart too. She'll either be devastated, or totally cool with it. It should be interesting to see what the next few weeks bring...

1. That's the good thing about security. My cage is not easily found. You can always pretend you are coming, as this makes for great imaginations!!!

2. Grounding, that would not be a good thing. Better to avoid any future problems.

Yup yup. :P

So...interesting thing Marius did yesterday. He said he loved me, although this was intricately woven into a joke/plea for me to give him lego gummies, involving the idea that he loves lego gummies *almost* as much as he loves me. (I gave him the gummies) And maybe (probably) I'm just reading into this too much, but I found it to be interesting. I still haven't figured him out yet though. He's a rather interesting and complex person. And he might come with us to the Celtic music thing in a couple of weeks, which should be cool. I'm going to try and get Ian to go too. If he can't go, I'll probably invite Brennan. I still need to get Brennan's music collection...

Now, when a guy/girl says that they love you, it does not necessarily mean in a bf/gf kinda way.

Cause that is often the case with a couple of my friends.

Hahaha I'm not responsible for that video. :P It was fun. In the middle of this lounge sieging, Ian and his friend Kelley showed up.

The past couple of days have been so busy. Lots of work and whatnot. I keep finding myself attracted to Marius, even though I know it would never work. He's an amazing person, and I find him physically attractive as well (which doesn't happen too often on this level), but there are some obvious morality and faith issues at hand. Stupid hormones... <_<

And last night I talked to Ian online. Out of nowhere, he asked if it was normal that he was still feeling the pain from having his heart broken by his (now ex) girlfriend back in October. I told him that it's totally normal (which it is), and it led to a quick chat about trust, and being careful who you trust. He was also not feeling well, and had to go to sleep, and right before he did, he said "I trust you," and for some reason, it touched my heart. I'm not sure why. Maybe because Ian is one of the few people I genuinely trust? Maybe because I think trust is one of the fundamental things needed for a relationship? I don't know. I found it to be interesting. I feel so bad for him too. From what I gather, she cheated on him, and not only that, but her "boytoy," as Ian put it, lives next door to him, and he can often hear them being "physical" on a regular basis (Ian really trusted the girl, and has the same basic moral ideals as I do). Doesn't help much that Valentine's day is in a week, and add to this that he has a cold (which is really bad for a voice major). If only there was a way to send hugs over the internet (aside from the standard *hugs*).

And adding to the chaos is the Lara and Kevin (and everyone else) conflict. It works like this: Lara is nice and she's my friend. But she's kinda loud and obnoxious, and doesn't know when to take it down a few notches or give people some space. So everyone thinks she's annoying, especially Kevin. This is because Kevin is (actually, was) going out with her roomie and our mutual friend, Christina. But Christina was spending pretty much all her time with Lara, so Kevin and Christina got no alone time (although in Lara's defense, Kevin didn't exactly make much of an effort). So Kevin finally ended it, and both seem okay, but Kevin still really doesn't like Lara. No one will tell Lara straight out that she's annoying, and needs to give people some space. Lara told me the other say that Christina and I are her two best friends here. So, I might end up talking to her about it, because it's starting to make things really awkward, and the closeness of the friendships that we have is starting to dissolve, and I don't like that. Oh the dramatic goodness.

Ew, that sounds difficult. >.<

I feel really sorry for Ian though, he is in a bad position. You two seem made for each other, but that whole religion thing seems to get in the way. And, as Lara's friend, you need to tell her about people's issues with her. I don't want you to have to not be with a great guy and lose a good friend of yours.

Yeah, it's a bit of a tough spot for all of us. It'll all work out eventually though.

To an extent. The only part of this that I can really do anything about is talking to Lara. It's just a matter of getting her by herself with lots of spare time. It's not easy.

You could schedule a "Girls night out" where Lara, you, and another friend are scheduled to hang out for the evening. And then the other friend could end up being busy. Or maybe you and christine could talk together to Lara?

Not sure what Christina's perspective is. She kinda sees the good in everyone, so she probably doesn't find Lara to be obnoxious. I've already started politely informing her when she's yelling in casual conversation (she does that a lot). Today was fun. I had dinner with the guys and Jackie, and then Alexa and Christina (different Christina from Lara's roomie), which was fun. Then we had yoga, and then watched Grey's Anatomy in Lindsay and Steph's room with Marius. Ian showed up about halfway through, and it was nice to see him. I'm chatting with him on IM now, despite the fact that we both have 9am classes and should be sleeping (he's also studying for a musicology test). And he said a little while ago, "I was extremely happy to see you tonight." ^_^ He's so sweet. It still bothers me that I've been finding Marius more physically attractive than Ian. Especially because everyone's all like "Oh, Ian's so hot.." and no one ever says that about Marius. I guess I just have strange tastes in guys. Not like it matters anyways, because as it is, I can't have either one of them. Gah, it's all so complicated. It's like a maze with infinite dead ends.

No sense in letting things run their own course, though. xD

I doubt I need to say this, but, looks aren't everything. xD

But right now your top priority is finding a way to tell Lara she is annoying. In kinder terms. xD

So today I went jogging/walking at the indoor track. My cardiovascular system seems to have disappeared, so I'm trying to get it back. And now I'm eating ramen. I love ramen...

Last time I checked, ramen was bad for you. =O

Like, high in fat and sodium.

I thought that the way it worked was that unused sugar changes into fat. I don't really eat a whole lot of healthy stuff here. The only reason I was eating ramen is that I was sick of pizza. And while my cardiovasculr system is gone, somehow I'm skinnier than before I got to college.

Yes it does. It does indeed. I know this very well, because I love sugar lots and lots.

And for some reason I'm getting thinner too. While getting taller. And at the same time, I'm having plenty more sugar then I used to and doing less exercise. Apparently, the way to be more healthy, is to be more unhealthy.

Wow, so, last night, yeah. I was just getting started on my BHP homework when Kenneth IM'd me. And we were chatting for awhile, and talking about the people we like, and I had just showed him a poem I wrote, when Ian signed on. I IM'd Ian, but rather than respond, he called me (keep in mind that it was about 12:30am). He said he wanted to come over, so I said okay. A litte while later, he IM'd me, saying he just realized he did his paper wrong, and we decided it would be best for him to come over today instead. And we got to talking about love (sparked from a poem he posted online), and that led to a discussion about God and salvation. This time, God allowed me to make a really solid arguement. I'm not sure if Ian saw the last of what I wrote (he had to take his meds, and I'm not sure if he read it when he was done, because it was around 4:30am by that time), but I'm pretty sure that God's speaking to him, and has him thinking right now. So now I'm praying hardcore for his salvation. This could be it...

Oh, it's Single's Awareness Day. And I just found out something kind of interesting. Ian kinda likes Steph. I kinda thought that might be the case, but it's so hard to tell because he's affectionate with everyone. But he's not going to do anything aboutit because he's not sure if she feels the same way. (I don't *think* she does, but she's really hard to read sometimes). This also lead to a "why girls hit on you all the time" discussion. He's so clueless. So God is telling me to wait, and maybe the whole bit of distraction with Marius lately was meant to soften the blow (and if so, it worked, because it actually doesn't bother me). Either it's not meant to happen, or it's not meant to happen yet. And I guess it's kinda a good thing that he didn't get saved the other day, or else I would have made a huge fool out of myself. Oh, and in other news, Ian told me that he's going to be on "the five year plan," meaning he'll be here an extra year (nobody at his college graduates on time, because of the credit requirements). Ian also came with us grocery shopping this evening (which is what sparked the IM convo about Steph). And I got mint soy ice cream! (Wegmans has lots of different soy ice cream, and it makes me happy). So yeah, interesting evening.

Okay new update on Ian. He acknowledged that his feelings for Steph are probably only in passing, since he doesn't know her that well yet. And I commend him for that. It takes a lot to know that "feelings" are different from love. He also says that, "And your friendship means more to me than ANYTHING, and I would do anything for you. I think you already know this," "And you come first before anything that might be between her and I which probably wont happen to begin with." So. Interesting.

I'm pretty sure I failed my calc quiz. There were only 5 questions, two of which were definitions I didn't know (I was only expecting to have to do the math). Oh well. It's Friday. At least I figured out my physics homework. :) Last night I got some of my old high school friends into a chatroom, which was nice. :) And after class today I did laundry and played DDR, and then went to dinner. :) Now I'm waiting until 7:30 to go see Casino Royale (it's playing on campus this weekend). And tomorrow is the Celtic music festival, which should be fun, especially if Ian goes. :)

:( Sorry to hear about the calc quiz. Maybe there were enough people who also missed th definitions and you will pass.

Glad to hear you worked out your physics homework. Perhaps you will get an A+++++

Or, maybe the teacher will be more sensible and she will get an A or A+. xD

You are probably right. Jesusfreak got 100%!!!

Really? I didn't see that. >.> xD

Of course not, both the posts were in the queue at the same time. LOL

Stupid board. xD With all of its peculiarities and such.

I know a solution, but I don't think I need to mention it. xD

But then again, what happens when two mods go to moderate the same post?

When this happens with HampsterKing and I, I would guess whoever got there first actually approved the post.

I think it should be that when someone goes to moderate a post, it gets taken out of the queue.

But once you have all the posts up in that queue, and HampsterKing has the same page up, then you are unaware it has already been moderated.

The celtic music festival was fun, although Ian couldn't come because he had to make up a four hour long recording session (he has an 8 houor long one today). He was able to stop by after I got back though, which was nice. He seemed a bit out of sorts though, a combination of depressed and contemplative. I predict a very long IM conversation in the near future... Oh, and yesterday my dad installed some software to tweak some things on my phone, and give me lots of potential ring tones. So now, on my phone, I have Butterfly (from DDR), the nintendo song, the nightmare before Christmas theme, No Surprises (by Radiohead), and cannon in D (which my old phone had, but not this phone). So yeah. I'm happy about that. (someone should make the HD song into a midi file for a ringtone). Today, I have to get lots and lots of work done.

I think I did pretty well on my physics exam this morning! ^_^ And last night after I was done studying, I went to go hang out with Marius and Dave. We were later joined by Kevin and Brennan. My friends are all pretty strange, but Marius is exceptionally unusual. And being the scientist that I am, I kinda wonder how he got that way.

lol no, I didn't :P It was Kevin talking for most of the time, actually. He doesn't shut up (and oddly enough, one of the reasons he doesn't like Lara is because she doesn't shut up... ) Last night Lara, Lindsay, Steph and I all went to Wawa and Wegmans. I got more soy ice cream! ^_^ And today, being Thursday, is yoga, and Ian might come, which should be funny, because the yoga instructor is his voice teacher.

It's FRIDAY!!!! ^_^ Yoga was cancelled last night, and Ian never showed up. He never said why, but he did say he's going to try and come over today around 9. So last night me and a bunch of friends ended up watching Family Guy in the lounge instead (yay DVDs!). It was fun. :) And I have lots and lots of homework to do this weekend. This past week has been crazy with all the work, and not just for me, but for most of my friends too. But even so, two more weeks until spring break! ^_^ I can't wait! ^_^ Ooh, i should probably move my laundry into the dryer soon...

You will. It's called university or college. LOL

Yup. It's fun, except for when there are drunk people yelling outside your window. Then it's not so fun. So Ian finally showed up yesterday, late, and still in a tux from a recital that got out late. What is it about tuxes that make men look good? And he finally gave an explanation to why he didn't show up Thursday: he had to attend a faculty recital as well. At least he seemed like he was in a better mood last night, a much better mood. I was really starting to worry about him. We all watched Sleeping Beauty in the lounge last night. ^_^

And I can't believe I'm saying this, but I *think* I'm over Ian as a romantic interest. I mean, I still love him more than I thought I could love a person, but it's not a romantic love. I'm thinking we were meant to be best friends instead, which is kinda cool. :) Aside from being saved, I need a husband who is willing to learn and accept new things, ways of thinking, hobbies, music, entertainment, you get the ideas. Ian has some rather unusual interests, which is one of the things I love about him, but he's very critical of things outside of his style, which I'm not such a big fan of. Kenny is kind of the same way, and I guess that might be one of the reasons I stopped liking him in that way too. And this explains why I like Marius. He's willing to both teach and learn, and I love that. And he's such a sweet and caring guy too. I should make a list of all this stuff somewhere....And yesterday I slept in until 3pm, got dinner (by which I mean a muffin) at 5, chilled in my room for a little while, and then hung out with what few friends are still on campus for awhile. Today so far, I've gotten a little bit of work done on my Faustus paper, then my friends came and got me to go to the mall. Brennan and Kevin both got Nerf shotguns at KB Toys, and are currently running around the building with them. And now it's SNOWING!!! Yay snow! ^_^ Maybe classes will get cancelled tomorrow... I wonder when the rest of my friends coming back. A bunch of them went home for the weekend. Wow my thoughts are jumbled today...
