The past couple of days have been kinda tough on me. I've been slightly ill, and in a bad mood for no good reason. And I've had lots of work to do. It's been one of those days, only that lasts for a couple of days instead of just one, if that makes any sense.

I dunno, life has been pretty good for me lately... So it doesn't affect cheese. Just hampsters and people.

Don't worry, I ate one of your relatives that you really didn't care for. LOL

Clazzik's wisdom #1: Unless you want to be on the cover of the newspaper, don't eat MK's cousins.

I'm being serious. I have an uncle who is something important (dun remember what) at ESPN, I have a cousin who owns Golf Courses, my mom is vice prez (I think) of United HealthCare, etc.

Today I'm actually in a much better mood, of all things. God has some great timing with things. ^_^ I know He's using me as a part of His plan, I just wish I knew more details...

It's always nice to have a plan. Even better if you had some idea of what it was.

It's actually great fun to watch. Basically what it is is that you are this funny ball thing (called a katamari) and you roll around and pick stuff up. You start out small, and at first you can only pick up small things. As you pick up more things, you get bigger, and you can pick up bigger things. The objects range as small a crayons and legos to as big as gods and continents. The idea is that your katamari needs to reach a certain diameter. There's a whole story line involved, but I don't know exactly how it works.

Oi. The past several days have been really busy around here. But today I'm in a really good mood. Last night was the Halloween party, which was a lot of fun. I'm considering switching my second major from physics to biology. Physics is getting boring and frustrating, and Bio seems more interesting. Plus a lot of the course requirements are the same, so it shouldn't be a hard switch. you know, normally I'd be falling apart at an idea like that, but for some reason I have a good feeling of peace about it. Maybe God was tryng to tell me something when I got a 1 on the AP calc and a 5 on the AP Bio, despite the fact that we only had a real teacher until March last year.

I think if you got into the Black Hole studies, the fact that in about two million years or so, the Milky Way will be swallowed up by the Andromeda Galaxy, then you would never leave physics. The study of Black Holes is so very fascinating to me.

  • 3 weeks later...

Ooh wow I haven't been here in awhile. Lots has happened since I last wrote. Remember Ian? He was supposed to visit me on Halloween, but he got pulled over for speeding on his way over (so he says). The day after that was Wednesday, and I went to inter-varsity that night. I got back a little after 10, and noticed that there were two people in the room, which is odd because Lacey (my roomie) doesn't usually have guests in the room. Just as I was thinking that, I realized it was Ian! He had apparently showed up to my room about 15 minutes after I left, and was waiting around for about 2 hours for my return. I was SO excited, I couldn't even talk. We hung out until he headed back home around 4:30 am. It was wonderful to see him again. ^_^ That Friday I got to see him in a performance at his college, and in the process got to meet his family. They're all really cool, and he's so much like his father. He then showed up last Wednesday for no particular reason, and I got to see him on Saturday because he was part of a concert on my campus. I *might* be seeing him in a concert on Sunday in NYC, but that's kinda up in the air. During this whole process I have become painfully aware of the fact that we both love each other very much, but we can't be more than friends because of the difference in faith (he's Jewish, and very stubborn. For those of you that believe in salvation, please pray for him). Just about everyone that knows both of us thinks we should be a couple. It's really hard. However, I think God has a reason for everything, and I'm curious to see where He goes with this one.

In other news, some brilliant person thought it would be funny to pull the fire alarm at 4am. Just to clear this up, don't EVER pull the fire alarm at 4am unless there's a FIRE. Or else people will want to do much worse things to you that put you through a meat grinder. Add to this that I didn't get to sleep until 2:30 am and had an important physics exam at 9am, and you get a very cranky Jesusfreak. o.O

I have to say that if Ian is a really great guy and you say that you will not marry anyone outside of your faith, have you ever considered looking into the Jewish faith? Two people of different faiths can marry and have children if the details of the religions are worked out ahead of time. I, for one and my sister, would not be here if our parents followed your line of thought. What our parents worked out was that the children would be raised in the mother's religion. What is even more interesting is that I went to both churches and my mother had me attend services in every religion she could find. This helped me to decide what I felt was the best religion for me. You and Ian could work out how holidays would be celebrated, foods, the raising of children, etc. and this could ultimately be an even better experience for your children. The bottom line is respect. If you both respect each other, then you have a relationship that could grow and flourish.

It seems more logical for him to add Christianity to his faith, as Christianity is a continuation of Judaism. I don't know how he would feel about the whole children issue. I think it would be hard to have a husband that when he dies, I won't see him again. Either way, the Bible says you're not supposed to marry outside of your faith. It's really hard, but it kinda makes sense. I figure that if God wants me and Ian to get married, He will make Ian believe as I do. So I'm going to keep praying, and waiting.

okay so anyone that saw my comment in the thankful topic might wonder why I'm thankful that Ian's alive. Well, he came over to visit on Monday night and we were hanging out in Lindsay and Steph's room (where I was spending the night because my roomnie's bf was visiting from Utah). They were all munching on this giant box of assorted chocolates. I told Ian to be careful, that he might not want to eat those, because they might have peanuts (he has an allergy). He ate a pecan cluster, which was fine, but the pecan clusters and peanut clusters look about the same, and the box had been around long enough that the chocolates weren't all where they were on the map. The second one Ian ate had peanuts in it. So we ran across the lawn to the c-store for benadryl, but they didn't have the liquid kind so he took a normal one instead. It didn't help, so he called 911 for an ambulance and I called my sister (she's an EMT) to find out what to do. We then went back towards the dorm building where we met campus security, who game Ian oxygen (his breathing was getting really bad at this point) but couldn't give him an epi-pen. The ambulance finally showed up, gave him epinephrine, and we went to the emergency room. His breathing was much better by the time we got there, but we still had to be there for the better part of two hours. One of the RA's from his campus came when she found out, and she brought us both back to my dorm building. Since one of the medications they gave Ian made him feel a bit woosy, he also spent the night in Lindsay and Steph's room. Then three of our other friends decided to do the same, so we had a total of 7 people in one tiny dorm room. XD It was fun, but i didn't sleep very well, so I was totally braindead all day yesterday. At one point, ian was definately singing in his sleep. He was well enough in the morning to get up and go to class, which was good. :) Later when I went to geet my stuff from Lindsay and Steph's room, I found out Ian left his prescription papers in their room by mistake. So when my mom came to pick me up last night, we went to his campus to drop off the papers with him. It was nice to be able to chat with him for a little while, even if it was through the car window. ^_^

So yeah, the past couple days have been kinda crazy.

So I should probably add the lesson learned to my previous post:

1. Know what allergies your friends have

2. Know where there epi-pens are (Ian's was all the way in his car, and probably expired)

3. keep liquid benadryl around

4. Find out which of your other friends have epi-pens (turns out my friends' roomie has one for bee stings, but we didn't know that)

5. know how to deal with an allergy attack (breathe slowly, remain calm, take liquid benadryl, if you have an epi-pen, you stab it in your thigh, and call 911)

Oh my!!! You have had a couple of crazy days!!! Thank God Ian is okay!!!!

It is so rough that he can not have anything with peanuts in it. I would almost be so afraid, that unless I could see the peanuts myself, I would not eat anything with any type of nuts.

Those were great words of advice that you gave everyone with allergies. Perfect things to know. I had no idea about liquid benadryl. One question, the epi-pen is what? Can they be used for any type of allergy? For example, if someone is allergic to bees and someone else is allergic to peanuts, can the epi-pen be used for either or do you have to have a specific one for a specific allergy. I thought I understood that any epi-pen could be used for any allergy, but I want to make sure I do not pass on bad advice. Thanks for your great post!

Yeah. Watching your friend nearly suffocate isn't fun. And I told him not to eat it. He never was good with following directions. o.O The liquid benadryl apparently works faster than the normal kind, and apparently for some reactions, you can stop them with the benadryl. The the "epi" in epi-pen is short for epinephrine, which makes your blood vessels open up and helps the allergen (whatever is causing the reaction) to get out of your body, and helps you breathe better. They can be used for any allergy like that, yes. But they apparently hurt really really bad. Because it's baasically this giant needle that gets jabbed into the outer side of your thigh, about half way between your knee and hip bone for at least 10 seconds, 15 if possible. Basically, epi-pens save lives. If your friends have allergies to stuff like that, ask where they keep their epi-pens.

Thanks for the great information. We watched a girl run into a stop sign after she was stung by a bee and she had a really bad allergic reaction. If I had known what to ask I could have possibly helped her. Instead we just called 911. I felt totally helpless in this situation. At least I now know what to ask. Thanks again.

You did the right thing. If you ever see anyone having an allergic reaction, ALWAYS call 911. Oh another IMPORTANT note about the epi-pens: NEVER use an epi-pen that is expired, and NEVER use an epi-pen if the liquid inside looks cloudy or milky, because it could kill the person. Also, make sure the person is actually having an allergic reaction, and get their permission to use their epi-pen on them. Because nobody wants to get stabbed with one of those if they're not having a reaction.

Thanks again. This is great information just to know. I had to give CPR to a gentleman in an airport parking lot and I was really happy I had be taught how to do that.

I really never thought about that. What I did do was what I had been taught, had the daughter call 911 and then when the paramedics arrived, I disappeared into the parking lot. Knowing the hospital where he had been taken, I later called to find out that he was okay. It happened a few days before Christmas and being able to make a difference made that particular Christmas an exceptionally happy one.

Thanks again!!! This girl was so allergic to bees that she may have had an epi-pen. If this ever happens in the future, I can always ask if they have one and then look at the date and color. Thanks again. This is great information just to know. I had to give CPR to a gentleman in an airport parking lot and I was really happy I had be taught how to do that.

Okay, make this board a population of champions AND heroes. xD *thinks up new award* You get the golden gouda award. This one goes to those who do an amazingly selfless act/good deed such as that.

Thank you for the award. I really don't deserve it.

You saved a man's life!

When was this? So yes, you DO deserve it.

A long time ago.

How many years? Or can this info not be dicsclosed?

So tomorrow I have to do a persuasive speech on a topic of my choice. I'm going to "persuade" people to ask their friends if they have severe allergies, what they're allergic to, and where they keep their epi-pens, and also persuade people with these allergies to tell their friends. :P And now I'm eating ramen. Because it's better than cafeteria food.

lol I hope so. I got an A- on my first two, and a B- on my last one (I went way over the time limit), so and A+ would be excellent. When I have a choice, I always pick a topic that interests me. It makes the assignment easier to do. :)

Hm...so on (insert networking site here) a bunch of my friends were posting this 14 questions thing. These are the questions:

1. Who are you?

2. Are we friends?

3. When and how did we meet?

4. Do you have a crush on me?

5. Give me a nickname and explain why you picked it.

6. Describe me in one word.

7. What was your first impression?

8. Do you still think that way about me now?

9. What reminds you of me?

10. If you could give me anything what would it be?

11. How well do you know me?

12. When's the last time you saw me?

13. Ever wanted to tell me something but couldn't?

14. Are you going to post this in your notes and see what I say about you?

A bunch of my friends answered them, but most of the answers (aside from one of my friends admitting that he had a crush on me in 4th grade) were pretty boring. Except Ian's answers. This is what he wrote, tell me what you think:

1. I'm just your average long-haired opera-singing Israeli boy from CT....

2. Gee, I hope so...

3. O we met during my junior year of HSC when you TAed my geometry class and I finally got up the guts to talk to you because I was so shy. *blush*

4. A crush!? *gasps* Oh my. Are we 14?

5. I think you already have to many nicknames and its probably rather confusing, so I'm just going to call you what I've been for the past 5 years.

6. Sincere, sweet, honest, genuine, and all around lovely person, someone who God loves...ok thats not one word, but I dont care.

7. I thought you were logical and can basically reason your way through anything.

8. That's proven.

9. Hmm cameras, hiking, having fun. Happy blonde people with blue eyes and glasses.

10. I'd probably give you pretty music that you could fall asleep to.

11. I'd like to think I know you rather well, you certainly know me.

12. Um the last time I saw you I was looking up from a hospital bed.

13. What does this question even mean?

14. ?

What do you make of this?

I don't know. He could have feelings for you, or he is just a close friends.

Yesterday was crazy. It was Ian's opera, and I wanted to go, but I didn't have a ride. So I got Kevin to drop me off, because he and some friends were already headed out to go get a Wii. The opera was amazing. There were actually two. The first one was Savitri, which Ian was not acting in, but part of the "unseen voices" (kantorei). It was a very pretty love story. The second one was Gianni Schicci, which was hilarious. Ian played this really creepy guy Betto, it was sooo funny. Afterwords, I ran into Ian's mom, her friend, and Ian's sister, and we eventually found Ian, and went out for a quick dinner at Panera. After that, we helped strike (take apart) the set, and then went back to Ian's room to hang out for awhile. We looked at pictures, he played music, and tried to teach me how to dance (which is hard in a tiny dorm room). Then we came back to my room, and we hung out here for awhile while I worked on some physics homework. Ian then left to go home. About a half hour later, he called me. Someone had slashed the tires on his car and broken off the antenna, and he was at the security office filing a report. I told him to come back here when he was done, and made him some peppermint tea. He borrowed my computer to contact some people to tell them what happened, and then Lindsay drove him back to his campus, because he had classes in the morning that he couldn't miss. I feel so bad for him. Tires are so expensive, and he just replaced one of them. I guess Ian and cars just don't mix very well... The interesting thing is, shortly after he left my room I prayed for him to have safe ride home (which happened). I was talking to my mom about it today, and she said that pretty much the entire church is praying for Ian, and that often times, when someone is close to being saved, Satan tries to intervene. So please keep praying for him. When I was talking to him last night I said, "Hey, crud happens." He said something along the lines of, "It seems like someone upstairs has been taking laxatives." XD Poor kid...

Ian has a great sense of humor in light of all that has happened. He sounds like a really cool guy. The opera sounds like it was phenomenal, followed by a great place to have dinner. As for Ian's car problems... well, have you ever thought of getting him a bicycle?

lol yes, Ian is an amazing person. The type of person you only meet once in a lifetime, if you're lucky. And the opera was phenominal, and I was quite happy to get chicken noodle soup at Panera. ^_^ Lol, a bike is sounding better and better, although I've got a feeling that the handlebars would fall off.

so...much...work...*twitch*

Oh... :( I am sorry your professors are working you so hard.

lol it's okay. Most of my professors are actually being nice. I just have a huge history project due tomorrow. It's my own fault for putting it off for so long, but I work better under pressure.

I work better under pressure is the phrase I use when I procrastinate too much!

There was something good to be said about school before there were computers... no powerpoint presentations.

My problem is that when I get on the computer, I have a tendency to procrastinate and play Clickomania. I am so addicted to that game.

I'm feeling much better today, because classes are overrrrrrr! ^_^ I just have finals now. :) And today I went out shopping, and got most of my Christmas shopping done, and also got a bunch of other stuff I needed/wanted. My weekend is going to be busy. Tomorrow, Ian says he has a suprise for me. All I know, is that I need to be at his campus sometime tomorrow afternoon, whatever the suprise is will be inddors, but we will have to walk to get there, and I should dress warm. This should be interesting....I'm thinking it might be a Christmas concert, because he knows how much I love Christmas music. But then again, this is Ian, and you never know... Then on Sunday I'm going to NYC to see the radio city Christmas thing, which should be tons of fun. ^_^

How exciting!!! Ian sounds like such a considerate person.

Glad to hear your finals are over. What a relief... especially before Christmas.

Have fun in the city! I love walking down Fifth Avenue and looking at the displays in the store windows. Paris has some wonderful displays as do many cities in Germany. You will enjoy the show at Radio City Music Hall. If you have not been before, I guarantee you will have a fantastic time. Wish I was there with you!!!

Wait...I thought finals were still left to be taken...? Well if they are, good luck on your finals! College finals sound scary, but I guess it seems different once you've actually taken a course at college  Otherwise, I'm glad you got through them already.

No, classes are over, finals are not. I still have finals. Yes, Ian never ceases to amaze me. Sometimes this is in a good way, and sometimes it's in a "You're a total idiot" way.

It was the Christmas concert! I feel smart now. The concert was, in typical Westminster style, amazing. And they sang Betelehemu, which is a Nigerian Christmas carol, which we sang in our high school chorus last year (and did an awful job on, but anyways... ) It was so cool! ^_^ And I got to meet a bunch of Ian's friends, and they all seem really nice. :) So yeah, an amazing day overall. ^_^

Fantastic!!! Sounds like a great way to spend a day. :D

I'm feeling much better today, because classes are overrrrrrr! I just have finals now. And today I went out shopping, and got most of my Christmas shopping done, and also got a bunch of other stuff I needed/wanted.

No, classes are over, finals are not. I still have finals. Yes, Ian never ceases to amaze me. Sometimes this is in a good way, and sometimes it's in a "You're a total idiot" way.

Guilty of reading what I wanted to read, not what you wrote.

Good luck on finals. Please let me know what Ian's surprise was if that's okay. Also tell me how you enjoyed Radio City Music Hall.

How did I miss not responding?!?

I think Ian is a super person who really likes you as a person and loves you as a friend. My feeling is that Ian would like to have more of a relationship, but respects you and your wishes and knows the boundaries. He sounds like he knows you very, very well on a deeper level than most committed relationships.

Let me ask you a question... you do not have to answer this, but honestly think about what your heart would feel.

.....How would you feel if Ian started dating and became serious about another girl?

Please do not answer me. Just look deep inside and think about how you would feel. This is a very tough question if you are truly honest about your feelings.

Okay, that's what i got out of it too. I've actually already asked myself that question. I think it would kinda bother me, but I can't get too mad because I can't have him anyways. It would be unfair and silly for me to think that he would not look into dating someone else. Whatever happens, I know it's part of God's plan. If me and Ian aren't meant to be more than friends, it's okay (although somewhat disappointing). I just need to trust God with it and hope and pray for the best.

Why can't you date outside of your religion? If you both discussed it before hand, looking at the possibility of marriage, and you both agreed that the children would be raised in the mother's religion, why couldn't you date and marry him?

Woah, the boards got all wierd. Anyways...problem one is IF we agree on that. Ian is very stubborn. Problem two is that if I marry someone, I want to be with them forever. If I marry someone of the same faith, I can have the hope of seeing them again after we both die. The idea that Ian and I, at the moment, are not headed for the same eternity already bothers me enough. :( I know it doesn't make sense to a lot of people, but it makes sense to me. Like I said before, if God wants me to marry Ian, God will cause Ian to be saved.

Strange ions wandering around the boards. I guess the update that HampsterKing was talking about finally went through.

It doesn't sound wierd to me. I admire you for following your beliefs. Ian seems like a very special person, a guy that does not always pop into your life and it would be sad that the religious differences couldn't be worked out. But, I do understand and respect you for following your faith.

Thank you. :) It is kinda sad, but if it doesn't work out, I'm sure God has other plans. I'll just have to wait and see... Oh! And God helped me with my physics exam today. Dead serious. I was taking the exam, and couldn't remember like half of the stuff. So I stopped and prayed asking God to bring the knowledge back to my mind so I could answer the questions. And He did. I answered all of them hopefully correctly. Oh, and my mom got tickets to see the Westminster Messiah performance. ^_^

13. What does this question even mean?

14. ?

What do you make of this?

Glad you had divine intervention on your physics exam. I hope you get 100%!

How exciting. I wish I was in the city for all the great performances. That is one thing I miss being here.

Jesusfreak... would you please email me when you get a minute?

pmajr@earthlink.net

Thank you.

Um...okay. o.O

Done. Nothing bad. I appreciate it. Thanks.

lol yay for nothing bad! ^_^ Today at dinner they had a Christmas theme. The were showing Christmas movies and had a place to make gingerbread men. It was amazing. ^_^ I took a picture of the one I made, I'll have to put it in my pictures when I get the chance. :)

It's almost Christmaaaaaaaaaasss!!!!!! ^_^ That makes me so happy. ^_^ I'm listening to Christmas music online now. I actually found a website that doesn't get stuck all the time. And Ian came to visit last night, and finally got his tires fixed. They guys at the tire place felt bad for him and gave him one of the tires for free. And I made a video and put it online to the tune of "don't worry, be happy." It's so awesome, I wish I could post it here. Oh, and last night Santa decided to visit our college on a fire truck. I kept hearing all these sirens, and I was like OMGosh, people are dying, an apartment building must have blown up or something...no...it was just Santa. I got video footage of that too. I also got a picture. Maybe I'll post that later. I really ought to start working on my 7.5 page BHP paper...

Writing papers is the worst part of college. I hate writing papers. You have no idea. Especially the kind with minimum page requirements. When I'm a teacher, I'm not making my kids write insanely long papers...

I agree. Papers and I do not agree.

I finally finished it around 4am. Now I get to take my last final exam and go home. ^_^

Thanks! I hope so too. Remember that insane history project I was doing? I got an A on the presentation and an A- on the paper...way better than I expected. ^_^ And I'm pretty sure I did well on my last final too. It is sooo nice to be home for the holidays. When I got back, I saw this huge trailer in our front yard. Apparently we got a new ultralight airplane. It only has one seat though. <_< Then on the front porch is a piano, that's new. o.O It's so strange coming home after 3.5 months...But so nice! Because I don't have ANY academic work to do for the next month. :)

Aw, thanks! ^_^ I'm pretty happy about it. My grades are a bit better than I was expecting. I must have done really well on my physics final. And the concert is today! ^_^ And the weather is supposed to be good too, which makes me happy. Although seeing snow would be nice too. Yesterday we bought, set up, and decorated our Christmas tree, so now it's all pretty and sparkly. ^_^ And the house smells like pine, which I love. I still have to wrap Christmas presents...o.O At least the shopping for the presents is over with.

Oh! And I found this really cool Christmas radio station online. It's actually a whole bunch that you can choose from. The "wide playlist" is really cool. ^_^

*loves Christmas music*

:D:D:D:D:D

Don't think you are going without me. I am already in your pocket and protected from the cloudy skies, ready to enjoy the concert.

lol :P The concert was, as usual, awesome. ^_^ Today I went to church and got to see all of my church friends. Kenny's little brother John is taller than me now! :o It was nice to see everyone again. :)We also got ahold of a DVD recording of the church Christmas play, and watched it when we got home. They were a bit hard to hear in places, but they did a good job overall. Kenny actually had a solo, and he can actually sing! I was impressed. I can't believe Christmas is tomorrow...I still need to wrap those presents...

Yay Christmas! ^_^ I actually got all three of the things I wanted, instead of just one like I was expecting. I got a ps2 and DDR games, a rather large external hard drive (for all of my pictures), and a very warm sleeping bag for cold weather backpacking. ^_^ And a bunch of smaller stuff. The power just flickered. Anyways...We're going to see a movie in a little bit, probably Night at the Museum, which looks really funny. And I think Ian's crazy. It seems that he's going through his friends list on (insert networking site here) and leaving them all wall postings saying Merry Christmas. And he has well over 200 friends. o.O Crazy kid. Nice, but crazy. It would be easier to just post a note and tag everyone in it. He said something about coming to visit. I want to teach him how to ski. XD Hm...I think that's pretty much all that's going on around here. It's going to be quiet around here...I think...

The sleeping bag for cold weather backpacking... tell you what I will take the sleeping bag and you can "see" someone about backpacking in cold weather idea. LOL

Doesn't sound like your place will be too quiet. :D

lol :P I'm actually talking to Ian on IM, kinda. I have pictures from when we taught him how to ice skate. XD Backpacking in cold weather isn't too bad, as long as the temps are above freezing and there's not much snow. There were light flurries when I went backpacking once. It was really cool. ^_^

Backpack hiking is better in the cold, you don't get as hot and sweaty...

*starts wondering if there is something in the water up north*

*jumps out of lake* What about me?

There must have been something in something up here. Cause that would explain the sore throat, stuffy nose, congestion, two ear infections (one of them a big honkin' one), and conjunctivitis, or pink eye, in both eyes.

xD Lotsa fun.

I have medicine going in my ears, eyes, nose, and mouth. =O Every orifice, man. Luckily, just the orifices in my head.

Aw, that's no fun. My sister had conjunctivitis recently, and my dad has some sort of nasty cold type bug. 'Tis that time of the year...

Conjuntivitis is nothing compared to some of the earaches I have had recently. Like, screaming death laser pain, that wasn't subdued by two tylenols. At all. In the middle of the night. Twice.

So yesterday and today were really crazy. Yesterday, six of my sister's friends and Ian all came over. Jenny's friends spent most of the time playing video games. Ian tried playing super smash bros. melee for the first time and somehow came in second place among a bunch of kids that had all played at least several times before. We also jumped on the trampoline, played music, and went for a walk, which was nice. The only issue was the we had to go outside every once in awhile because Ian is severely allergic to cats. Today my friend Becca came over, and we played DDR and watched a movie. The we dropped Becca off at her other friend's house and dropped Jenny off at the fire department. We then went out shopping for some stuff my parents needed. Now I'm sitting in the living room watching the news. It's been about three years since they captured Saddam and they're finally going to hang him.

Yup. She works there as an EMT on Friday nights.

Sounds like you all had such a great time. Poor Ian being allergic to cats. There is a good side, you got some cold, fresh air every so often. LOL

Yeah, it worked out okay though because the piano is on the front porch, so he played piano and talked about music until his fingers were too numb, and then we went back inside. :P Today was the last get-together at the airport, which is officially closed as of Jan. 1st. Everyone's really sad about it, because there aren't many good places to fly around here.

I am bored out of my mind right now. Mom wasn't feeling well this morning, so we didn't go to church. :( At the moment, I'm burning all of my cds to my new hard drive. My mp3 player doesn't seem to be working properly, since it fell off my desk a couple of weeks ago. :( Oh well. Tonight we're planning on going out to dinner and seeing a movie for New Year's. At least that should be entertaining. :)
