He was buried because we are buried. He was lifted so we could be lifted. He was beaten because we are defeated. He was ridiculed because we are ridiculous. He was pierced because we are not whole. He was scorned because we are scorned. He was kind because we lack kindness. He was forgiving because we need forgiveness. He was gentle because we are broken. He was fierce because we are prideful. He was inclusive because we are all the same. He was divisive because we are divided. He is here because we are not there. He is strong because we are weak. He is powerful because we are powerless.
