Give her two roses, one saying "To my best friend" The other saying "To the girl of my dreams" Every minute without you is the happiest of my life, Cause as time passes by, I get closer to seeing you Whenever I'm lonely, I look into my heart, And I see your face, Yeah, I wrote these because of my first girlfriend who now lives far away. I'm so sorry to hear this. Jesusfreak's right. I can't imagine what are the causes for her to start smoking. There are so many very good reasons why not to smoke, I can not understand why anyone would want to start. Please try and help her quit. Well mines over twice that time just from my house to her state. I live in Canada she lives in the US....Its 10 hours and 28 minutes just to get to her state, not hitting any red lights or traffic. Ouch, yeah, you've got me beat there. Phil and I live in the same town, so we get to see each other during breaks, which is good. Not really a poem, but a most wonderful thought. You said she has a boyfriend now. How serious is this relationship? By the way, I was in Vancouver for a couple days last month. But I was talking to her and got her address, and I told her if I was to go by car it would take 9 hours ad 12 minutes and than I said "Theres got to be an easier way to get there" She said "Dont think about it...its kinda dumb" but she doesnt realize Id take the 9 days and 3 hours and walk the 889 km just to stop by and say Hi ._. I need to pay more attention. More coffee! This is a must. My brain is foggy. BTW, I am trying to go to Ottawa next month. Another great Canadian city. Now that would be outstandiing!!!!! I know where I will be flying a couple weeks before the next month, so I can give you a minimum of two weeks to six weeks notice.
