schimmislick Posted September 19, 2007 Report Share Posted September 19, 2007 the class, communications tech. the assignment: find pictures to photoshop, what i did, went to gizmodo and looked at a slideshow/video of iphone, i wanted to get an iphone picture with the hand touching it and photoshop it, because even though i think the iphone is awesome, i'm beginning to not like the ipod brand, they're too greedy(but that's another topic) the teacher sees me close out of the window when he come close, i couldn't find any good pics, so i closed out. what did i do wrong? Sounds like you didn't do anything wrong to me? My guess is that the timing was all wrong. Your teacher assumed you were doing something you weren't supposed to and when you did not have a picture, then this confirmed his suspicions. That is what I am guessing. Things will be different at college My uni even gives out laptops to freshmen, I'm using mine right now while our French class is on a break (we have breaks because the class is ginormously long, about 3 hours). So far no professor has asked any kid in my class why they have their laptop out. Just be smart about it, don't let it distract you from the class (I always put it away when class starts). Most schools have a program called er...cannot remember but I think it is NovelClient. It requires a username and password. Also, most schools, if not all, have students sign a computer release form that cearly states if you are found using the computer in any way other than for school work you will get kicked out for the whole year. Nothing. Are you still banned from the compies? Tell them to check the history, and if they have no proof of anything wrong, then they can't punish you. Such as a few days ago on msn at school, I searched the word "test tube" and was reported to school administrators. xD I dunno if you have a similar system, but that may be it. I think we had like, twelve old school Macs networked with one dialup modem at the other end of the thinnet cable. they later did get Satillite internet, or at least, the library sprouted one of those big'ol "millenum falcon" -style dishes, and it no longer took 15 minutes to get the first ten search results.
