Man, I'm tired. BUT IT ROCKED!!! The first concert I've even been to and now I think there is a god - a god of music. And s/he just blessed my ears. Of course, I'm partially deaf for a while, but that's a minor setback. Even driving there was fun On the way we saw two rare cars - a Ferarri and a Daimler! : o :o As Horatio would put it, 'Oh, my!' My throat is dry now. *drinks some water* And to think. That was a sell-out! Imagine what it'll be like when WATERS comes to town!!! They played The Wall and Dark Side Of The Moon. First was 'In The Flesh?'. It rocked. I found out that 'glow' was just a typo >_> I don't trust that site anymore "Lights! Turn on the sound effects! Action!" "Drop it, drop it on 'em! Drop it on them!!!!!" Next came (oh, shock and amaze) the next song on the album: The Thin Ice. I liked that one... Don't be surprised when a crack in the ice Appears under your feet. You slip out of your depth and out of your mind With your fear flowing out behind you As you claw the thin ice. They continued in order for the next four, Another Brick in the Wall Part 1, The Happiest Days of our Lives, Another Brick in the Wall Part 2, and Mother. "You! Yes, you! Stand still laddy!" But in the town, it was well known When they got home at night, their fat and Psychopathic wives would thrash them Within inches of their lives. "If you don't eat yer meat, you can't have any pudding. How can you have any pudding if you don't eat yer meat?" Mother, did it need to be so high? But then: they go off in a direction illustrating a more insane life, starting with Speak To Me. Which was, I might add, completely different to non-live. This one was spookier, the heartbeat was louder and it had sound effects like a haunted house, and no instruments throughout it. "I've always been mad, I know I've been mad, like the most of us... very hard to explain why you're mad, even if you're not mad..." Then we go on to Breathe, which sounded exactly like the CD. It's funny how one can be nothing like the CD, and the other exactly like the CD... Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun, And when at last the work is done Don't sit down it's time to dig another one. Followed by On The Run, which was similar to the CD (minus the footsteps), but with live comes a screen, and with a screen comes videos, and this was a very very creepy video. "Live for today, gone tomorrow, that's me, HaHaHaaaaaa!" And then they play Time. The actual clocks chiming was actually... Get this... quieter then on the CD. Depending on the volume. The time is gone, the song is over, Thought I'd something more to say. Then comes The Great Gig In The Sky. And speaking of the sky, the next song is Goodbye Blue Sky. "If you can hear this whispering you are dying." "Look mummy, there's an aeroplane up in the sky" (I have to say, THAT SONG I loved. Verily muchily.) Next comes Empty Spaces. Can't think of much to say about this one, it's pretty average. What shall we use To fill the empty spaces Where we used to talk? How shall I fill The final places? How should I complete the wall? Man, I'm tired. BUT IT ROCKED!!! The first concert I've even been to and now I think there is a god - a god of music. And s/he just blessed my ears. Of course, I'm partially deaf for a while, but that's a minor setback. Even driving there was fun On the way we saw two rare cars - a Ferarri and a Daimler! : o :o As Horatio would put it, 'Oh, my!' My throat is dry now. *drinks some water* And to think. That was a sell-out! Imagine what it'll be like when WATERS comes to town!!! They played The Wall and Dark Side Of The Moon. First was 'In The Flesh?'. It rocked. I found out that 'glow' was just a typo >_> I don't trust that site anymore "Lights! Turn on the sound effects! Action!" "Drop it, drop it on 'em! Drop it on them!!!!!" Next came (oh, shock and amaze) the next song on the album: The Thin Ice. I liked that one... Don't be surprised when a crack in the ice Appears under your feet. You slip out of your depth and out of your mind With your fear flowing out behind you As you claw the thin ice. They continued in order for the next four, Another Brick in the Wall Part 1, The Happiest Days of our Lives, Another Brick in the Wall Part 2, and Mother. "You! Yes, you! Stand still laddy!" But in the town, it was well known When they got home at night, their fat and Psychopathic wives would thrash them Within inches of their lives. "If you don't eat yer meat, you can't have any pudding. How can you have any pudding if you don't eat yer meat?" Mother, did it need to be so high? But then: they go off in a direction illustrating a more insane life, starting with Speak To Me. Which was, I might add, completely different to non-live. This one was spookier, the heartbeat was louder and it had sound effects like a haunted house, and no instruments throughout it. "I've always been mad, I know I've been mad, like the most of us... very hard to explain why you're mad, even if you're not mad..." Then we go on to Breathe, which sounded exactly like the CD. It's funny how one can be nothing like the CD, and the other exactly like the CD... Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun, And when at last the work is done Don't sit down it's time to dig another one. Followed by On The Run, which was similar to the CD (minus the footsteps), but with live comes a screen, and with a screen comes videos, and this was a very very creepy video. "Live for today, gone tomorrow, that's me, HaHaHaaaaaa!" And then they play Time. The actual clocks chiming was actually... Get this... quieter then on the CD. Depending on the volume. The time is gone, the song is over, Thought I'd something more to say. Then comes The Great Gig In The Sky. And speaking of the sky, the next song is Goodbye Blue Sky. "If you can hear this whispering you are dying." "Look mummy, there's an aeroplane up in the sky" (I have to say, THAT SONG I loved. Verily muchily.) Next comes Empty Spaces. Can't think of much to say about this one, it's pretty average. What shall we use To fill the empty spaces Where we used to talk? How shall I fill The final places? How should I complete the wall?
