Have I ruined my chances? The future seems shadowy now Is this my downfall? The past is horrid My mind is in constant turmoil I can hardly sleep When I do Nightmares overwhelm my senses The past is painful The now so numb The future is bleak Where did the light go? Am I dying? Have I lost hope? Will I ever again find the strength I need to cry? That was then. This is now. Now is the time. The time for what? The time for healing to begin. --------------------------------------------- Don't worry. I'm not too far gone to know that I am loved. I know I'm okay, for now.
