D= Or everyone is just on their vacation dealies. and will be back later. ... ._. Maybe it's because everyone is on holiday. Mushroom_king left last weekend, Vixen left this evening for a week of schoolies. - Kat - has not been around forever and Mega Wolf posts only occasionally, TGHL posts only a little... slow, slow, slow. It looks like Texas got a good snowstorm which extended all the way up to Toto's house. In Schimmislick territory, they always get snow and freezing cold from July 5th until July 3rd of the next year, so Arkcher ought to think about moving to North Dakota when Texas warms up. But it was snow, so I was happy. I pranced around outside for a few minutes before deciding that Texas snow just isnt as awesome (You really had to look hard to see it, and it'd melt on the ground) so I went inside, and ran off to tell my sister that it was snowing. ... but since it was wet outside... and the central part of my house has tile in it... I slipped and descended with a great loud resounding "OH SH**" and it hurt. D= which got me to realize that Adrenaline causes me to curse. XD wha'evuh. Today, it was 25F outside. But it was snow, so I was happy. I have no idea how this little camera will do taking pictures at night so I can only hope for the best. Perhaps I will have something to show you later. About 24 minutes to go if everything goes well. Update... 17 minutes. I will walk out at 5 minutes. TBFOF... where are you? I need photography lessons. Coolpix camera, looking out over a dark river, no moonlight to speak of, facing a relatively dark island waiting for the launch. Which one of those little pictures should I select. The one that focuses, the one for action, the landscape?????? I am going to cover the flash with my finger and hope for the best. The last picture is when the shuttle was about 150 miles east of Florida and around 50 miles up, traveling around 6000 mph. It is over 17,000 mph when it reaches it's top speed. The cool thing is that we have the NASA channel down here and you go outside, watch the launch, then go inside and see it from about ten or twenty different camera angles. Very cool. They also show the camera located on the outside of the shuttle and you can see the main engine shutting down and the separation of the fuel cells.
