Please get well soon or hopefully you don't get sick. If you do get sick, please pay attention and watch that you don't do too much and get a relapse. The relapse is a million times worse. Great news on the class. Glad you are enjoying it.

It sounds like you have had a great weekend. Too much fun can definitely wear you out. You almost have to go back to work to get rested. So which of the 101 things will you be starting with? Perhaps you can add a few of your own. I really don't like the cold. There are so many parts of the winter I love, but the negatives outweigh the positives. Scraping ice and snow off your car just to go somewhere is number one on the list. That is why a bicycle is so great in the snow. It gets you where you want to be and no ice removal. Global warming... couldn't we just have global warming in certain sections of the world? For example, let's have the cold remain at the poles with the polar bears. Then for the rest of us... heat things up! Of course, I have some maniac friends who love the winter, ice fishing and other assorted outdoor snow sports. If it gets UP to 20 degrees Fahrenheit, they have shorts and t-shirts on. So for them, we will have a couple states that can remain cold in winter.

I agree! Let's get started!!! Yes!! I have been searching for TGHL's email address. Hopefully I have the current email address. That would be quite useful. I've sent an email and the good news is that it wasn't immediately returned as undeliverable. -
That is going to be a wonderful trip! I love Turkey! I have some friends over there. Would you please take me with you? I would love to take you! I'll be staying with a friend and her family. We will be in Istanbul for one week and Silivri for another. But there is one condition, you must take me somewhere in return! That's a great trade! You've got a deal!!! It's wonderful that you have a friend who is inviting you to stay with family. You are going to really enjoy yourself. I've been to Izmir many, many times. I've made some acquaintances there.

I understand how you feel. In Florida, I lived on this great little street. It was one of those quaint little Florida streets with bungalow type houses. Fantastic neighborhood. I went back sometime later and it was piles of concrete trees and junk. Almost heartbreaking. A couple years after that I decided to return. The streets no longer existed. All traces of that neighborhood were non-existent. It was now a mall. The worst part was walking through the ruins. It was an empty feeling not to see any trace of the place.

Great thinking! The farewell party will be sort of sad. The good news is that you can always be linked in seconds. Housewarming parties are always interesting. What kind of gift do you think you will be bringing?

Yes, I know how scary this is. Years ago I came home and recognized from far away lots of firetrucks in front of the house. Luckily, it was just because of a fire drill at a heating power plant close to my home. The trucks were parked in front of the house because it was next to a restaurant where all the firemen had lunch... That must have been a little disconcerting o.0 Extremely! That would have raised my heart rate for a spell. -
The exhibition was ok, but for €17 I expected more. It was really small. Nevertheless, they had some nice plastiniations. My favorite was a man who was 'disassembled' and all body parts were arranged 3D with filaments similar to an exploded view. I think I would like that exhibit. The €17 is pretty expensive. I can't imagine that many people would want to spend that much and not have a really great exhibit. Sooooo... how was your birthday?

Dear Leguan, Wishing you a most wonderful birthday. Of course, you will have to suffer through two versions of the birthday song, hopefully the translation is correct... Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Leguan, Happy Birthday to you! Glücklicher Geburtstag zu Ihnen, Glücklicher Geburtstag zu Ihnen, Glücklichem Geburtstag liebem Leguan, Glücklicher Geburtstag zu Ihnen! May all your birthday wishes come true! Have a great day! Grandpa tried using the microwave again :c Exactly! Actually, I don't know. The fire trucks stayed there for over an hour, but one of them wasn't pumping any water, so who knows. -

So, here I am cooped up in Memphis. Not really the best situation. Anyway, at about 01H30 two night's ago, there was a fleet of fire trucks and the fire marshall who arrived. Luckily there was no fire, but it was not the way you want to wake up in the middle of the night. Last night about the same time, a humungous clap of thunder woke me up with a start. Usually I could sleep through a bulldozer tearing down the house, so the storm, being directly overhead, must have had the loudest thunder clap ever. Anyway, here I am drinking my morning butter rum coffee, wishing I could run around. -
Rain would be my preference. Get rid of the snow. Hopefully it stayed warm enough and didn't turn to ice. Let us know about the exhibition. Sounds really terrific!

I have been trying to find a day to make a HampsterDance Reunion. Any good ideas? Are weekdays better than weekends, later better than earlier? It is really hard to figure out. Any thoughts anyone?

Some of the musicals are really, really old. My closest friend is an actress who is addicted to musicals. I just started taking old musical albums and downloading them on the Mac, turning them into CD's and sending them to her for her computer and iPhone. Let me go and look at some of the titles. These are some classics. Gypsy is another musical with great music.

It would be great if you could have an uber jazz jam. I believe that would be great fun. If you get a wild streak, next time you get the opportunity at band practice, just go off on an impromptu solo jam. It would be worth a zillion micicles to see your band director's face if you did that. Your teacher should encourage you to try as many instruments as possible. You might find that you just love the trumpet the best, but have a couple other instruments that you enjoy as well. She wouldn't stop you from learning piano is you wanted, so why not French horn, trombone, etc..
