Due to the fact that FedEx has not received delivery of the A380 I cannot comment until I fly it. We are supposed to get the airplane in 2007 or 2008. I think the delivery date was pushed back. The B747 has been around for many, many years and has proved very successful, so Airbus has been able to look at what Boeing accomplished. The only Airbus I can comment on are the A300 and the A310. Ok then, what did you think of the old Airbus models? I prefer the MD-11 to the Airbus A300/A310. When there is a computer problem, it seems to involve more than just one or two computers, a variety of systems. The only problems on the MD-11 seem to be the coffee pot not working (a REAL BIG problem) and the automatic function of the crew rest bunk. Did you see the first run of the A380 yesterday? It landed in Heathrow. What is really impressive is to look at these large airplanes and watch as they take off and land. For such a large aircraft to gracefully depart the runway, this is a wonderful sight to see. No, but I did watch the BBC footage of it landing. But people are already complaining that the increasingly popular regional airports cannot cope or facilitate these larger and larger aircraft. For those who don't know, in our case regional airports are fairly small airports which can just about cope with a 747 at one time, generally for lighter aircraft and those stupid cut price fair airlines like EasyJet. Usually used by people wanting to fly between the regional airports, London or to go from there to Russia, North Africa or Spain. Generally, the long haul flights go from the London airports and offer a cheap connecting flight to Heathrow or Gatwick. I saw the same BBC footage. As most airlines work on a hub and spoke type system, these people are complaining for nothing. They will still get the business, just in a smaller plane. For most people, they will fly into a major airport and change airplanes to go to the city they desire. Nothing will really change.

Whoo! *victory jigs for Horatio* n_n Thank you. I have to be totally prepared by the 29th of October! It is such a short time. Yay! But what exactly is the Marine Corps Marathon? It is a race for runners that is just over 26 miles. Of course, the super runners will complete the course in approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes, but I will be the last group to finish. My goal is just to complete the course. For me, it will probably around 5 plus hours. The word is that when you are doing your first marathon, this is the one to do as the spirit of the Marine Corps group far surpasses any other marathon in existence. So, as this is my first marathon and it falls on my birthday, I really want to run in it and just finish. I don't care if I am last, I just want to cross that finish line!!! Wow, a particuarly tough course too I expect. Not just running round London. And it falls on your birthday too? Sounds exciting, full of tension, drama, sweat and... people running. But won't it be hard for a hamster to run all that distance? Oh, and I'm sure you'll do brilliantly Horatio, after all you are a super-fit, FedEx flying pilot-hamster. I run in my wheel every night about 4 to 5 miles, so the only obstacle I have is to keep from getting squished. So I have decided to run at the back of the pack. This way no one can step on me.

I love the violet! Get those weed pics up here now!!!!!!! Violet? I thought it was a weed. Very pretty! I don't consider violets to be weeds. Not only are they pretty, but every part of the violet plant is edible. The leaves taste sort of like the dark green lettuce you find in most salads. I didn't know that. I know that pansy flowers are very tasty and make beautiful salads! I'm pretty sure that pansies and violets are closely related. They look pretty similar, but pansies have much brighter colors. And yes, they grow in the grass. And are great in salads!

Oh. You could always cut a little lock of your hair and place it in your bible. lol that's alright. The inside of my Bible is covered with references and page numbers to the verses I use most often. And the corners are held together with duct tape. Do you have a locket?

I went to the link you gave and had no idea where to look. I couldn't find any squirrel and hammie pics. Tell me where your pics are again please. I used to feed a squirrel that I named Stella. She was the greatest little squirrel. I would go out to the tree where her nest was located and call: Stella, Stella. She would come zooming down the tree at the highest rate of speed and then jump from one tree to another like a flying squirrel. I would feed her peanuts and a variety of other nuts when they appeared in the grocery store in the fall. Walnuts and pecans were her favorites. Stella would sit on my shoulder, run across my feet or legs, my shoulders if I was sitting down. When she had babies, she introduced her babies to me. That was the best. I really miss her.

I am very excited. Yesterday I submitted my application to run in the Marine Corps Marathon! I got in!!!! I have tried for a few years to get into this marathon and no luck. There will be 30,000 runners! I am soooooo excited that I made it. Now just to train. *looks for TBFOF*

Actually you can still get good pictures, it is just not as easy! With your talent, I bet you can get us some wonderful pics. Well. Since we got a new patio, I had mom buy me a few big pots, get me some dirt, and I picked out some really cool looking plants. The rain is so hard that the flowers are all either gone or in half. They will grow back and much stronger! What kind of plants did you buy?
