  1. Purrrrrrrfect! Don't forget to pack food and water and additional fur to keep you warm. Oh, you also will have to pack a litter box.
  2. Dear Mega Wolf, On this special of all birthdays, we would like you to know that we are wishing you all the best, for the greatest day. May this birthday be a day to remember, with all your birthday wishes coming true. Of course, no one escapes without the traditional birthday song, and you are no exception. So, where it goes... HAPPY HAMMIE BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY HAMMIE BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY HAMMIE BIRTHDAY DEAR MEGA WOLF, HAPPY HAMMIE BIRTHDAY TO YOU. Make a wish, blow out all the candles, cut the cake and let us get this party started. Happy Birthday!!! Horatio
  3. That's because you are up so early! I see you!
  4. Good luck. I still think you should look into the option I suggested. The pay is good, the shifts would work with your schedule and there are lots of benefits. Besides, they have psychologists in the company. A stepping stone for the future.
  5. For some people who can not deal with different aspects in their life, to avoid and ignore seem to be the best strategies. Of course, these stategies never work. At some time she will have to deal with things from her past as they will surface in a different form. It sounds like you have personally grown and are able to address different aspects of your life. This is really good.
  6. Whatever you do, don't put holes in the box like the guy who shipped himself via Airborne did. He had made it to his destination and as the two guys were at the door delivering the box at the door, he looked out one of the holes straight into the eyes of one of the delivery guys. Caught! The delivery guy knew he had made eye contact and called the police. Ooops. So, please do not put in air holes where you can look out.
  7. *wonders how Mega Wolf's first balloon day went*
  8. *tosses some brilliant red pin tac into the mix, then sets off a massive display of pyrotechnics in the western part of the state* That should keep you busy for a little bit.
  9. No problem. I will put you the detour on the schedule.
  10. Back in Memphis. We brought the wonderful weather with us!!! It is going to be a couple of days before I get the pictures posted. The laptop is getting a new hard drive and new RAM. It will be like a brand new computer! My laptop should be back home Friday afternoon.
  11. * air drops pin tac all over the states of Kansas, Missouri and Iowa* There... that should keep you busy for a while.
  12. We are heading for the airport in about one hour... it is too beautiful to leave!!!
  13. The drums are heavy, but I had not considered the 'wind' instruments. You are so right, the amount of air to have a good sounding brass section is a lot, without having all the marching. *drum roll* Tomorrow is the big day... Good Luck!!!
  14. That would be great!!! Of course, school is the first priority.
  15. Well, I went to the Apple store and bought Photoshop. But when I went to download it, I did not have enough hard drive space. I knew this day was coming and that it was just a matter of time, but I guess I either need to buy a new laptop or install more hard drive and processing capability. Such a difficult decision. What to do... new laptop or upgrade the 17"? Anyway, when I get back home I will post to your topic. Spent some time last night drawing... I am definitely not an artist.
  16. That was so nice of you! Her mother was probably so happy you all saved her from trying to win some tickets and getting that pink clown herself. I think I went bowling once... as I recall, I was awful. Probably all gutter balls. The only thing I remember were the shoes. Could not tell you who I went with or if I had a good time, but I can still describe the shoes with total recall and probably be very close to accurate. Strange. Now that I think of it, I probably did not have a good time as I never have been bowling again.
  17. That is really great advice. Thank you for posting it.
  18. There is a ton of royal wedding stuff already hitting the stores. . Personally I cannot get that excited over a wedding where I do not know the people getting married. But that is just me. The amount of stuff for sale is overwhelming... cups, mugs, all sorts of paper memorabilia, place mats, commerative high dollar plates, and the list goes on and on. I would not feel too comfortable eating dinner with their two faces staring up at me. And no, I will not be purchasing any of this stuff. Today I walked until I was so tired that I was yawning. At the moment I am having a couple cups of coffee before heading back to the hotel. Tomorrow evening we head back to Memphis. And for other news, Japan had another earthquake today. An inland aftershock, so no chance of a tsunami. My heart goes out to all these poor people.
  19. At least a marathon runner does not have to carry the heavy band equipment and can wear fewer clothes. It sounds like quite a bit of work but fun if you are in the proper shape for the task.
  20. That sounds like something I would do. Inanimate objects and I are having some odd encounters. Do they still have those strange bowling shoes?
  21. Being in school, the same classes and having mutual friends makes it very hard for you. I admire you for just trying to focus on getting into your school work and not allowing yourself to get behind. That is important. For whatever reason he changed, so please do not talk with him anymore about how much he hurt you. As you said, he has no understanding of the hurt he has caused and you only look worse in his eyes for trying to hurt yourself. When you know that you are going to be in a situation where you might see him, please focus on inner strength and do not let him see you sad. Focus on thinking of anything else until you are away from him. Treat him like he does not mean anything special to you and believe in yourself. As - Kat - said, this will be very difficult as the hurt is very deep, but as each day passes, it will hurt a little less. We are always here for you.
  22. The weather has made this trip absolutely phenomenal. We went to the aviation museum today and that was so much fun. Took lots of photographs, but I do not think that they will come out as well as I would like due to the lighting in the museum. Hopefully I will get one or two good ones. Looking forward to another great day tomorrow. I am out for another long walk around the city.
  23. Another beautiful day in Cambridge, England!
  24. It is an absolutely amazing day here in Cambridge, England. Sunny, warm, lovely spring day. We were scheduled to be here for 98 hours and now they have extended it another day. Our layover is now 122 hours. The weather, which is usually rainy and cold, even in summer, is absolutely gorgeous, and supposed to continue through the weekend! In Cambridge there is an amazing university structure. Wth this comes a zillion museums, art galleries and cultural events. I am really excited to be here for such a long layover. Pictures to follow in a couple days.
