Sometimes it is just boring. Physics is a really cool subject. I loved studying physics.

That will change. It is only the beginning of the semester. About half of my friends are gone. It's really boring now... Too bad you don't go to school in Florida. We could go for a run in my wheel together!

We are waiting for the romance novel chapter.

awww, por lonely horation. I hope your lappy gets better! what was wrong with it in the first place? There is an old hamster saying... if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Well, my first laptop, Andy Apple, had a problem, it wasn't connecting to the internet. So, my friend bought a brand new 17" Mac Book Pro! A super-duper outstanding laptop! He gave me his. It worked outstandingly perfect. I named the new addition to my cage Max Macintosh. So I went to an computer store, a Mac dealer but not an Apple store, and told him I wanted to see if I could transfer my data from Andy to Max. Sure! I bought a FireWire cable and he transferred the data for me. Then he told me I did not have enough memory, so I had him upgrade the computer to the maximum memory. I paid my bill, headed home and then all the problems began. The computer started crashing. So I called and he said the memory was probably bad. Returning the next morning, he changed the memory. I went back home and the computer started crashing again. When I called, he then had me switch the second new memory to the old memory. The computer still continued to crash. When I called them the following morning, he now blamed the problem on something else, now the problem was my logic board. I decided the only thing to do was go to the Apple Store. They sent Max off. DHL picked up the computer from the Orlando Apple Store last Saturday for overnight shipping... it arrived in Houston on Wednesday. They fixed it and shipped it out on Wednesday, FedEx, and it arrived in Orlando Thursday morning. The Apple guy said he had good news and bad news. The good news was... Max was back and in great shape. The bad news was everything on my hard drive was lost as they replaced my hard drive. So, I took Max home and now he didn't want to stay connected to the internet and then he crashed. I went back to the Apple store and they said that they will send the computer out on Monday. At the moment, I am connected with an ethernet cable and this is limiting. Sooooooo, to make a novel into a short story, tomorrow Max is heading out to Houston again, via DHL and when he arrives in Houston, the logic board and the airport card will be replaced and then hopefully home via FedEx to arrive *crosses paws* by Friday. Phew. Hope you didn't fall asleep. -

Horatio replied to Hamster Luver's topic in General HampsterDance Talk
Agreed. You know you are addicted to WoW when you spray whatever you were drinking all over your lappy whenever you hear someone shout, "Leeeeeeeerooooooooy Jeeeeeeeeenkiiiiiiins!" it is LEEEERRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NNNNNNNNNYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNKIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNSSSSSSSSs ssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *sprays chocolate milk all over his moniter* I stand corrected! how can a wurm stand? you know you are addicted to hampsterdance if you have been typing so much so long that your typing speed and ability has greatly increased. Which brings me to a very good point... even HampsterDance has wonderful benefits! Your typing is getting your prepared for all that work you will be doing in college. And wurms can stand on their tail. -
[quote name='The Grim Hamster lord' date='Sep 24 2006, 03:48 AM' Do try and spend two weeks in Amsterdam, it is a wonderful city. Unlike any other capital in Europe, and everything is so... relaxed. London is paralytic with traffic, Paris is full of Sardinians (or is it Corsica?) having loud verbal arguments over who owns the right to go into which lane while blocking all traffic behind and then there is Amsterdam in which there are barely any traffic queues. So unique... The trip round the canals is amazing too. Particuarly if you happen to be eating Ben & Jerry's Cookie Dough Ice Cream at the same time. And yes Mushroom_King, I am back. Not many other people are it seems. Where art thou LifesEagle? Yes! I have my bike all ready to go. I was there for two days during the special tulip festival that only happens once every ten years. How magnificent! I will be there for the next one. As for LifesEagle, she must be studying really hard in school.

Not at all... we have just been awaiting your return from Amsterdam! How was your trip? Did you get to visit Anne Frank's house? We have missed you soooooo much. Glad you are back. Oh I've been back for a long time now Horatio, popping in from time to time, but the forums seem to be so... empty. How strange it is to remember when it was full of members. As to Amsterdam, it was indeed amazing and I did visit Anne Frank's house. It was strange to be queing up to go into the huge glass and steel limpet that was attached to it. When I was in the house itself, going round (I had to queue behind some delightful person from the USA who was giving a very loud lecture on the war. I bit his head off (metaphorically) when he started insulting Japan.) it was extremely hot and the spice that still lingered was very agitating. Makes you wonder how horrible it must have been for the Frank family and their friends hiding in the small room behind the offices. How great you were able to get to the Anne Frank house. I would like to go on holiday in Amsterdam again. On each previous visit, the most I stayed was two to three days. My goal would be to spend a week, or if I could, two in Amsterdam.

Hello Glowurm, I am off for a bit to make coffee and put on some clothes. I have Max, my laptop, for today and tomorrow and then it is back to the library and stores to moderate for the week. -
