  1. One of life's lessons, is insecurity. Here is a perfect example. I am guessing that you normally answer your online messages pretty rapidly. When you didn't, she most definitely overreacted. Why all the profanity????? This I cannot figure out. Did you answer her? Well, before I switched over to Linux, I had an alert that told me whenever something happened on that page. Such is no longer the case. I have a very subtle blinking in the bottom right of my screen to tell me I have an email (notification), which I often miss seeing. No, I... dont know why she was using the profanity. She really didnt seem put off in the least with the first message. And yes, I answered, saying that When it says 'Im online' pretty much means 'my computer is on'. And if I dont respond soon, im either not at the computer, or dont know they're talking to me. She had the option of calling my cell phone, or talking to me on IM to check if I was actually there. I assuredly would have seen/heard if she was trying to get hold of me then. She is not over obsessing about you.

  5. Hillary Clinton would make an awful President. Barack Obama would make a great vice-President. I like Barack Obama. As far as Hillary, I would rather vote for a slug then see that woman in office. She has no desire to know about our country, she just wants to see herself as the first woman president. That is not good enough to be president. She has only been a senator for a bit, being the First Lady does not count for experience. Surely she is the best out of a bad bunch? She is the worst out of a bad bunch.
  6. And your plans for Friday? What happened with your loss of cell phone privileges, etc.? were to get drunk. but i didnt want to most of the day. and then when i did it was too late. i got my cell phone and internet back but my stereo is still gone. What happened that you lost all your privileges? If you don't want to talk about it, I understand. i was "fresh" I am assuming you were fresh to your parents and this did not go over too well.

  8. my first reply! i love his music too! (but u knew that! lol) I would think you like playing his music on the piano. yes, i just had piano lessons today! i'm working hard on "goodbye yellow brick road" bcuz my recital's on june 9 (i think) and i still have to fix a bunch of the song! i am so gonna practice it every day so its perfect! and our recital MIGHT be in the room in my piano place that has the elton john poster!!! ***very excited!*** if i didnt have ethics i would so steal that poster... but they're nice people at my piano place i wouldnt do that to them.... listening to capt. fantastic album right now... "and someone saved my life tonight...sugarbear...you almost had your hooks in me, didn't you dear?..." u can see my comments about that song in the "what cds do u own" topic.... well.... i love elton john! and i wish i had been born 45 years earlier so we would be the same age! but alas he is 4 times my current age...oh well i can read about his past and pretend he's still close to my age...but in one of his songs he warned me "don't go sleeping with the past/don't go praying he'll come back/take a deep breath and deny/you could love a man like that" but whatever.....(the song is "sleeping with the past" from the album of the same name) and in another part of that song he says "you're proud to love him/it's a foolish sign" but i mean its him that im proud to love and the song was written b4 i was born and he didnt even write the lyrics.....like always....i tend to overanalyze.... *~*The Grand Illusion*~*The Final Cut*~* That there song could be said for me and Joey Ramone. You ever try dating a dead guy with Lymphoma and an Unfinished solo album? and Dee Dee is jealous. *~*The Psychedelic Luau*~*The Astronomyy Domine*~* lol... HARRY CHAPIN WANTS ME o:
  9. What are you talking about??? You didn't kill this topic. i meant that after i posted, a week went by and nothing happened in this topic. Timing. You were looking at a slowdown in posting... finals, end of school, family holidays, etc. Now that school is out for some and ending for others, there will be spurts of posts and lack of posts.

  11. Glad we agree on this!!!
  12. I want a picture of the foam packing peanuts wrapped in a the mattress with you as the center. I want to try the Truffles Kisses. If you like dark chocolate, you need to try the Dark Kisses. Don't waste your time with Kelton. He may have a hot friend, but I am certain the friend shares in his bad habits. Usually birds of a feather flock together. Piano... yeah!!! Go Wildcat go!!!
  13. Aw. That's kinda sad. I enjoyed having her around, mod or not. Is there a disclosable reason why she's no longer a mod (aside from no longer being active)? HampsterKing removed her mod status. After he did that she decided not to post here.

    My place. :)

It sounds like this move worked out even better than you imagined! lol I got my card fixed today. During lunchtime I went down to residence life, and all it took was some guy pulling up my ID card info, unchecking one box, and checking another, and I now have access to my own building. And it did work out better than I imagined: my roomie has an air conditioner! Life is good!!!!!!!! Now, not only do you have access to your building, you will have a very cool room to relax in. Yup! And I get to sleep in tomorrow... And sleep in peace, comfort and know you have a considerate room who will not blast the tele. Yup! And it gets better: she normally goes to be early, and doesn't mind sleeping with my desk light on (which was good when I was doing my lab until 2am) This is a great match. If you two get along really well and she returns in the fall, would you be able to be roommates if you wanted? I'm already planning on rooming with my friend Christina. I was supposed to room with her for the summer too, remember? But she ended up doing some work program that housed her elsewhere, and I made the mistake of telling residence life she wasn't going to be here. That's how I got into this mess in the first place. o.O Yes. I remember you saying that. Somehow that slipped my mind. lol that's alright. My brain isn't exactly functioning properly anyways. Coffee!!!!!! *brews a wonderful smelling Butter Rum pot of coffee* Hahaha I had two mint coffee flavored granola bars for breakfast. I also slept in until 1 today, which was a wonderful thing. If I ever slept that late, I would be having some kind of panic attack that I had lost the entire day. Nah, my day generally runs until at least 1am anyways, so it's not really a big deal. Lucky you! lol Today we had a rather impressive thunderstorm, and I took some video footage. That reminds me...let's see if I can upload videos here... It says "uploading file" but it's sure taking its time. But then again the video is almost nine minutes long... Aw, it doesn't look like it worked. I wonder if it was a few seconds long, if it would work. *thinks about trying this* Hm...let's find out...Aw, "Upload failed. You are not permitted to upload this type of file" Lame. Let me complain to HampsterKing. *thinks we should have another topic called HampsterTube where videos are permitted*

You have been profiled as a terrorist. Hahaha LOL Nah, I think what happened was, before everyone's ID cards worked on every residence building, including the ones we're not supposed to be in. But yesterday, they changed it so it only works on your own building. Yesterday is when I moved, and it wasn't in the paperwork that I moved until after they changed it. So now my ID card works in my old building but not the new one. I'll have to go harass the residence life people tomorrow afternoon. And now Brennan, who I'm talking to on AIM about Scrunchy (the mascot for Shop-Rite's cereals), is telling me to go up to his room to join him and Marius, so I I'll be back later. It sounds like this move worked out even better than you imagined! lol I got my card fixed today. 19. Hillary Clinton would make an awful President.
  20. Yes, unfortunately it feels like the latter for us, in more and more areas such as literacy, health care, and voter turnout. We need a kick in the butt. *throws a kick* You can make a difference. If young people stated their vote would be for the candidate who reflected their views, and they were looking for change in environment, literacy, health care and they demonstrated they would come out and vote, change would occur. At the moment, I am very unhappy with the system. We allow politicians to do things that most of the general public does not. For example, American's who are airline pilots, must retire by age 60. Yet you and your entire family could get on an airplane in New York (for example), fly to Los Angeles with a foreign pilot up to age 65. Politicians can work until they die in their seat. If you work or go to school, your employer has the right to drug test you for drugs and alcohol, yet, a politician can go to lunch with a lobbyist, have a few martinis, then come back and vote on a bill that directly impacts your life. The candidates now see who has the most money in their war chest and the person with the most money wins. There should be equal money for all candidates. Then we would see a big difference. As for the electoral college... that is for another post. On another note... did you hear Fred Thompson is planning on running? For all those Law and Order Fans, he is one of the actors who plays the District Attorney role. Mr. Thompson was also a Senator from Tennessee. This should be interesting.
