  1. WOW!!! You are sooooooooo smart!!! Thanks, but I'm probably going to opt out of doing it next term. It's year 11 psychology because it's meant for people who work at a year 11 level. I don't. You probably could work at year 11 level... you are that smart. I don't have the experience. Experience does not always mean as much as you think. Some people have experience, but they have not learned a thing from it. In schooling, experience means so much. Experience means an enormous amount if you learn from it. There are some people who never learn. There are job applications that allow the exchange of life experience for education. This exchange opens the door to the interview. Once in the interview, it is up to you to show that you have learned from the life experience. You on the other hand, have the education and can always intern with a company that will give you that experience. And those people are held back years. Being smart amounts for little, even just skipping one year can cause so many problems. Although it does open doors even faster, but what's the use of opening a door if you don't know how to go through it? Sort of true. If I was smart enough to skip a year, I would take a year off after university to travel. While traveling, I would learn a couple languages and really enjoy myself before starting a career. Learning a whole language in a year is hard, let alone a few. The problem with learning a language is school is that you only practice it in class and do not live it. Actually you could very well learn a language and be totally fluent in six months. Many countries, such as Germany and France, hire young people to teach English in their language courses. They particularly like people who do not speak their language. The idea of the course is total immersion. You can do this for a few months, six months, up to a couple years. In the meantime, you are learning their language. Another way to learn is being an au pair in a European country. A friend of mine has the greatest success story. He went to an exclusive private school, and then on to an Ivy league university. His parents had spent lots of money and took out many, many loans. I talked him into going to Europe for a year before he started his work career. He stayed two years, much to his parents dismay. He worked as an English teacher and an au pair. When he returned home, he was fluent in German, French, Italian and Spanish. About six weeks of his return home, he had job offers from some very prestigious firms and took a job making more money than he ever imagined. When he inquired why... they told him it was because of his language skills. My new thought would be Chinese. Mandarin to be exact. There are so many dialects, but if you could master Chinese, I think you would have head hunters searching for you.
  2. *waits for good pics* Here is one picture of him, when he got out. Please also post that other pic where Milo is looking into the camera and you can see his electric blue eyes.

    hey

Oooohhhhhhhh !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How precious! I love the picture! You just earned yourself an award! The Platinum Moon Award for such a beautiful picture!!! What is your hamster's name? It's not my hamster, it is my friend's. I was beside the camera. I was not allowed to get in the picture. :glare: And his name is Buddy. But thanks for my first award! You are most welcome!!!! It's okay that Buddy is not your hammy. You posted the picture to share with all of us and you most definitely deserved an award!!! Thanks! First time over a computer Girls, AND Boys cared about how i felt. The one great thing about HampsterDance is that we have all become friends. As you get to know everyone, you will find you have many friends here. We like you for who you are, not what you present on the outside. You can always come here and talk about what is happening in your life and get responses that may or may not help, but are given in the spirit of friendship. I surely hope you stay as you sound like such a nice person.

  5. Here is my new mode of transportation. it's pretty it's a beemer lol but i really like the bright yellow chair in the background.. It's a great chair for those days you want to become mosquito dinner. I think the mosquitos particularly are attracted to the bright yellow. As for the bike... tomorrow I am riding over to Orlando and then down US 27. I need to get my mileage up to 1200 and then the engine will be fully run in. Until then I have to vary my speeds and rpms until I pass the 1200 mark. My plan is to go all the way to Sebring and then back up to Cocoa. Did you vote in the poll? loli hate mosquitoes they're annoying. lol well on you're way you are going to pass my casa! lol if i see a motorcycle I will prolly freak out and run in the middle of 27 and do a rain dance... lol Do you have a Starbucks in your town? I just might have to stop. Yesh I do. But it's at the mall... and we don't really have anything else at the mall thats worth going to. I lurv starbucks.... The mall. We have the worst mall in the world. The only good store at our mall is Books-A-Million.

  7. I was looking at your siggy, before you asked, and was at a total loss for words. People can be so cruel. They have no problem attacking other human beings for no reason. If I could give you a hug and tell you all those horrible, negative words are not true, I would do it immediately. These words are from insecure, hollow people who make themselves feel better by attacking others. You should not give these people power over how you feel inside. Of course, this is easier said than done, but you have so many great qualities... superb sense of humor, intellect, ability to make friends, terrific personality... and I could go on and on. You see, here at HampsterDance, we look at who you are on the inside, not what is on the outside, but who you really are, and we like the person you are. We miss you when you are not here and eagerly await your next post. Many years ago, people made friends that were called "Pen Pals". These friendships were developed through letters. There is not much difference withmaking friends over the internet, except that it is instantaneous. Before, people would be checking their mailbox and it might be months before they received a response to their letter. Now, it is seconds at best, to however long it might be for their cyber pal to respond. All I can say is that we really care about you and like you for the person you are. We will be here for you anytime you need us and will try and talk about whatever it is you want, if we can help you to get through the situation at hand. We are your friends and we like you exactly as you are. *gives Glowurm a really big hug* I've learned to never believe you when you say you're at a loss for words. I thought you never believed me when my evil wild side was emerging.
  8. Horatio. We were to take care of Horatio for being a traitor to THE GREATER GOOD.  *eats Glowurm* XD I have no idea why I find that as hillarious as I do. M M M M M Tasty! XD I dunno. It's not like eating people isn't a common occurance on this board. I think it's because you did it. You don't normally do random stuff like that, which makes it extra-funny when you do. So while if anybody else had said that, I wouldn't have been too surprised, but you said it, and it actually made me giggle and my brother looked at me funny. *throws an over-filled, ready to burst water balloon at - Kat's - brother* XD Now I just have an image of a hamster almost falling over, carrying a huge water balloon and flinging it at Alex. It does sound quite funny, I mean a tiny hamster carrying a HUGE over filled water balloon and trying to throw it at someone larger than him. Quite funny. I got all inspired to do a short comic out of it, but never got around to it... *waits for the comic* *starts stockpiling over-filled water balloons*
  9. ROFOCLH !!!!!!! *calls to Wildcat* Hey you! Yeah, you!!! Pick up your award! *hands Wildcat The Gold Star Award* wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Glad you like it.
  10. Kinky? No. Just sticky, gooey, oozy, sundaes.
  11. I love your pictures. I look like the Syrian hammy with the carrot. I am a blonde, 3 1/2 year old male hammy. STILL 3 1/2? Youve been 3 1/2 for what is it, 3 years now , so that makes you 6 1/2, which is really old for a hamster , so im sure you are a little gray Gray ??? 6 1/2 ??? *grabs Wildcat and covers her with Hershey's Dark Chocolate Syrup, then real whipped cream, followed by a variety of toppings* grr! kitties dont like being covered with various toppngs! *takes horatio and dunks him into a huge vat of toxic pudding, which makes him turn into SUPER HAMSTER!* Super Hamster!!! Yeah!!! *looks in a mirror to see there are no gray hairs in my fur* Yup, it is all blonde.
  12. i spent so much money on rock the bells  I would wait for the CD to come out or go to iTunes. Its a concert, and Rage against the machine has not had one for over 6 years so everyone wants to go. And you don't think there will be a Rage CD called "Live at ___________" (fill in the blank). If there have not performed for over 6 years, I bet you a cup of coffee there will be a concert CD. If I was their agent, I would insist on it. Maybe but whatever, its worth it. True. Concerts are worth it. I love concerts, but am too cheap to spend the money. *thinks... must save money for an iPhone* *~*The Grand Illusion*~*The Final Cut*~* My mom won't let me go to London for live Earth. I was like, "But mom! Genesis! Duran Duran! Red Hot Chili Peppers!" *~*The Psychedelic Luau*~*The Astronomy Domine*~* I saw read hot chili peppers in oakland, they are not as good as i thought they would be live. How disappointing.
  13. I almost didn't get a job because it required a blood test. My hammy heart can't handle blood tests.
  14. HK THK is a firefighter? HampsterKing posted a photo of himself. When I find the picture, I will put a link here.

  16. May I say something that is really out on a limb... never start a relationship with presents. If you do, then the girl will come to expect them all the time. Start out doing things that cost no money. If the girl really likes you, she will be happy to just spend time with you. If she bolts... count your blessings. You don't need someone who is only looking for the next gift. Then, if you are together for a while, just buy inexpensive gifts. Cards are a most terrific way to let her know you care, but aren't breaking the bank. Flowers from the grocery store, a book, a CD, etc. are the best type of present for the time you really need one. The high priced gifts can come much later. Trust me on this one. Some girls are only in a relationship for the gifts they can get. I think something home made would be the best because it shows you put time into it... A home-made gift is perfect. I totally agree with you. I would much rather have a home-made gift, then a store bought one. *unless of course, it is the new iPhone* shh 8 gigs, thats barely any memory, wait for the memory to go up then get it. Oh no... I plan on going to the Apple store in the mall and being there when it opens at 10H00. I am getting in line even before the store opens. Then the Apple store is closing at 14H00 until 18H00 and I will most definitely be the very first person to own an iPhone in Orlando. The cool thing is that you can activate your phone through iTunes online. I have been saving for this day for a long time!!!
  17. There wasn't. I was just exaggerating because I had watched Kill Bill and Kill Bill 2, over and over and over and over... TNT had it on for three days straight.

  20. Okay... it is time for my evening motorcycle ride. I just have to get out and ride for a bit. So, my friends, I will be back in a while. Post your little hearts out while I am on the bike.
