  1. Your hamster is not a pet that leaves the house. It is not a dog or cat. Please leave your hammy in the house. She will be fine. Putting a hamster into a carrier case is putting stress on your hamster and shortening the life span. Bringing your hamster to a festival with fireworks, noise, smells, could very well give your hamster a heart attack. Remember, your hamster wants a nice quiet place to be. He is a nocturnal creature and the desert, where they are originally from, at night is very quiet. These are the same type of things you need to keep in mind when you pick a location in your house. He will get into a routine with you so that he will wake up, clean himself, then want to have some fun. This is when you can put him in his ball, play with him in your room, let him run in his wheel. You can give him a treat and get to know him. Waking him up during the day is the same as your parents waking you up all through the night. A good sleep during the day and he will be ready to play with you at night. When you first take your hamster home, he will need a couple days to acclimate to the sounds, smells and environment of his new home. Did you remember the advice I gave you about asking the pet store to include some of the bedding from the cage he is in to take home with you? This will make him feel like he belongs in his new home because it has the same smells that were in his old home. Please, once your hamster gets to your house, never, ever take him outside again. If your hamster ever got loose outside, it would be certain death. Please tell me you won't take him outside.
  2. I am going to answer this in my topic as this is The Relationships Topic and I think some people will want to probably talk about relationships here.

  4. *hands Hamster_Girl The Platinum Moon Award for the drawing with the hamsters* Of course I love it!!!!!!!!!
  5. At lunch. I am going through all my hamster supplies to look for manufacturers and names. I don't want to say the wrong thing. Okey dokey! *falls down on hamster back* And does anyone know how long it takes for a gopher turtles eggs to hatch? I don't know. Are you implying I will take that long? No, about a week ago, a female gopher turtle went into my yard while it was pouring down rain and layed eggs, then covered them up with dirt. So now my mom wants to know how long it will take them to hatch. because my grandma is coming to florida to visit me, and she is staying for 8 full days, and 2 half days, and my mom is hopeing the eggs hatch while my grandma is here. And no my grandma does not look very old, i forgot how old she is, but whatever. Tell your mother to call the Florida Wildlife Hospital in Melbourne, Florida. (Phone: 321.254.88.43) She can leave a message with her question and phone number and someone will return her call and tell her all about them and what to do when the babies are born. They might say something like, leave your dogs and cats in the house, or turn off your lights in the backyard. I have no idea about what they will suggest, but they will advise your mother how to best enjoy the turtle babies without disturbing them. We aren't going to bother them, no one is. We can't even find where she buried them. from looking at the top of the soil everything looks the same. I was sitting in the rain watching her lay them, but them once she left our yard and left her babies with us, i put some leaves over it, but now everywhere has some green leaves, flowers, and other summer stuff. And my cat never gets out, except that once. And we never turn on our backyard lights. Plus she laid them in our front yard. I didn't mean to imply that you were going to bother them, but the Wildlife hospital gives you more information that helps you enjoy the wildlife. That was why I was suggesting your mother call them. I drop off injured wildlife there quite often and hope to volunteer there. Of course, they are not too keen on a hamster helping. (cough, cough) You could always search for them, they might have information there. Florida Wildlife Hospital (cough, cough) is the name. I looked it up. It takes 80 to 110 days for them to hatch, from the day they are laid. And it is illegal to move them, unless they are about to be killed, it is illegal to feed them. You have to leave them alone, even if it is a baby wandering around all alone. And they don't like water very much, they like dry places. And if you move them you have to move them a short amount of distance. Hope that helped. I didn't call though. i went on a website. Did you look at their website?
  6. Whoa!!!!!!!!! That has to be some muffin!

  8. Wow...those authors have completely forgotten the part of the Bible after the great flood, when Moses comes out and sees a rainbow. God says that the rainbow represents his choice to give man complete free will. That's why I like the rainbow so much. There are quite a few parts of the bible I tend to forget, but this part I never will. *~*The Grand Illusion*~*The Final Cut*~* I know. Another thing i hate is how Christian literature says that if you do a lot of something, it's idolatry. I listen to music everywhere I go, and according to these Christian authors, that would make God mad. I mean....What?????. seriously. I like music, it doesn't mean it's my God. Me and The A.D have our own God-The Great Muffin. A bunch of Christian kids at skool got onto us about that once and it ticked me off. *~*The Psychedelci Luau(*~(The Astronomy Domine*~* Hah. My brother and I decided to make a church of the holy muffin once. xD *wonders if that would be a Raisin Bran or Coffee Cake muffin*
  9. WOW!!! That is really incredible! *hands Mushroom_king The Platinum Moon Award for her lyrics*

It is in my siggy, that is the picture i will keep up, the other one, i'm not going to use. That is such a great picture of Milo. The black around his face really makes his blue eyes look more intense. Thank you for bringing it back. I wish to seeeee Milo disappeared again. *screammmmmmmmsssssssssssssss Hamster_Girl* Please put that picture of Milo in this post for - Kat - to see. *lets - Kat - know, the next time Milo's picture appears, I will drag it to my desktop* It won't let me post the other one, so here is two, and please don't keep asking me to post them. If people want to see him, then they can come to this board, but please don't keep asking me to post them! If you can post the picture in your siggy for just enough time for me to copy it to my desktop, then I can put it into the post. What happened was you put it in and removed it before I had a chance to move it. Pretty please! You are the only male who ever begged me... FINE! i will put it in for a bit. I have Milo now!!! 21. i spent so much money on rock the bells  I would wait for the CD to come out or go to iTunes. Its a concert, and Rage against the machine has not had one for over 6 years so everyone wants to go. And you don't think there will be a Rage CD called "Live at ___________" (fill in the blank). If there have not performed for over 6 years, I bet you a cup of coffee there will be a concert CD. If I was their agent, I would insist on it. Maybe but whatever, its worth it. True. Concerts are worth it. I love concerts, but am too cheap to spend the money. *thinks... must save money for an iPhone* You are saving for an Iphone, I'm saving for a hamster! My parents want me to buy everything, so July 2nd, If i can do all my chores my parents want me to do each day, then my dad will give me $100! I've already saved up $16! So July 2nd, I will Have $116 to spend on the cage, hamster, food, treats, hideouts, and everything else! So can you guys suggest good food, items, and ect.? I don't want to sound pushy, but I want my hamster to be happy, and get good items. Your parents are instilling very good values in you. You need to give them a big hug. You have no idea just how important it is that you learn about money. I am really proud of you. I wish you were here because I have so many extra cages that I could give you. And these are the really good cages. The cages I have are all the Habitrail cages, with wheel, bowl, water bottle, etc.. Plus I have some extra tubes and extra outlooks, etc.. As for treats, these can get expensive, but you can keep some in the cage and not throw them out when you clean the cage. For example, a lava block. Some hamsters love these and some will not touch them. The wood log type chews. Never bring wood in from the outside because there are lots of bugs and micro-organisms that you would bring in. Give me some time and I will figure it all out and give you a list. Okey Dokey! Go to my topic in HampsterDance Talk, Friends of Horatio Club, and I will post the list there.
