The sky was light, but not bright, as the sun had set about thirty minutes prior. Within about one minute the sky overhead became very, very dark, almost black. The sudden darkness was caused by a very low, intense cloud. Faster than you could blink, the winds started blowing, the rain started pouring and the lightning was like the pyrotechnics of Fourth of July, except directly overhead. The power went on, off, on, off and when lightning hit only a little bit away from my cage, just a couple cages down the street, the power went off for good. Probably one of the most dramatic storms I have seen in a while. Glad the power has been restored and the storm has moved off-shore. Too much excitement for a Saturday night.

Well we weren't about to go camping on the side of the highway. XD We got to the hotel. Yay wireless internet! The trip was nice. We were on the freeway most of the time so the ride was smooth (PA had some pretty bumpy parts actually...) I kind a bit cramped but that's bound to happen. We were on the road for around 10 hours. Nice to hear they let a pack of wolves spend the night in their hotel. Is your mini-bar stocked with various flavours of micicles? Yes, wireless is wonderful. Sounds like you will be able to get a good night's sleep after being cramped up in the car for 10 hours. How far do you have to drive tomorrow? We had a most ferocious storm here and lost power for over and hour. The storm is still pretty strong, but at least my wireless is back up and I am connected again.

That's the cool thing about this jacket. The inside zips out and the outer mesh has all the armour, shoulders, elbows, back; you can wear the outside in the heat of summer and stay protected and cool and you can wear the inside alone, just like a jacket that keeps you warm and dry, and when zipped in, it makes the entire jacket a great combination for summer, winter, sunshine or rain. Well, you can't impersonate a tree while playing capture the flag in a bright yellow jackeet, but a dark blue one works well. xD True, but I could impersonate one of those school crossing signs. nu-uh. cause school crossing signs aren't found out in the middle of the woods. xD *thinks* ADMIT IT, YOU KNAVE! I HAVE WON THIS BATTLE! *hands everyone a paintball gun, night vision goggles and sprays everyone with invisible paint* Go for it. Find Cheesemaster and get him good!!!!! good thing I am in my house right now. xD Sooner or later you will have to leave your house. *evil laughter is heard in the background*

Yeah!!!! I am up to 1073 on the mileage. Only 127 more miles to go until the engine is completely 'run in'. Tomorrow, I am really hoping it does not rain as I am definitely going to get all the miles in to pass the 1200 mark. Mr. Moosey and I'm_soo_coool, I will be passing through your neck of the woods, so if you see any hammies on black motorcycles with red jackets and black helmets... wave!!! I can't wait.

My heart goes out to your teacher. May I please suggest that you send a sympathy card to your teacher through your old school, they will forward it to his home. I am so sorry that anyone has to endure such pain. His life was taking a big step forward and now this step has so much sadness attached to it. Your teacher will be in my thoughts, heart and prayers. We really do not realize just how short life can be. Julian... I am really sorry. He did live a better life than most pigs who are slaughtered, but that does not make it any easier for you. People from all walks of life get into alcohol and drugs. The problem is that they really are not good. For example you say that you don't find them to be a horrible thing if used in small amounts. How would you feel if you were paying for an attorney and he was smoking pot, but you were unaware and you were being charged with murder? How about if you got on an airline and the pilot just had a couple of drinks with lunch? I do not believe that drugs are good for anyone. I can totally agree with that actually. I guess its just the circumstances but when you say it that way. Its a good point. I would be surprised if they didn't. Now we just need to get all politicians to take random drug and alcohol tests. Haha. Let's see, at least half of them test positive? Very least. XD If I was a betting hamster, I would say a much higher number.
