Isn't this his second crash? Perhaps he should start thinking about riding a bicycle. The good news is that no one was hurt. The nice thing about being away at school, germs just keep being passed around and around, until everyone has had a chance to get sick a couple times. No, although Marius claims to be a bad driver (I've never been in the car with him driving), it was Ian that keeps getting into crashes. lol I wouldn't call that a nice thing, but whatever. I usually barely get by without getting sick, but this bug seems like a tough one. I had confused Ian and Marius with the car crashes. At least they are okay. Usually, I can avoid most bugs, which seem to hang out at the "health" club, but the last one was the worst I have ever had. When I was having coffee yesterday, two guys were sitting at a table for four, kind of diagonal from each other. One guy coughed directly into the face of the other one without covering his mouth. The other guy said something, which I couldn't quite hear about coughing in his face, but the cougher... acted like it was no big deal and started getting rather loud, calling the other guy a baby. The other guy got up, went into the bathroom, and instead of walking back to the table, he left. Unfortunately, I do not believe, the cougher will get the message. Haha wow, some people are so stupid....I remember about this time last year, Marius was going out with this girl Michelle. And they were about to go their seperate ways one day, but Marius was sick, so he said, "I'm sick, you probably don't want to kiss me" and then proceeded to kiss her on the hand instead. I thought it was really sweet. Very sweet and very, very considerate. Speaking of Marius, I'm worried about him right now. He's in a *really* bad mood. I've seen him in a bad mood before, but this is a little bit scary. I hope part of his bad mood is due to the fact that he might be getting sick. If not, I wonder what is causing this. Please keep me posted. Just a thought, perhaps Michelle has something to do with his bad mood... what do you think? Part of it probably has to do with the car crash, he's just getting over being sick, and he has a lot of work to do. Michelle has nothing to do with it, they broke up a long time ago last year. Although he is interested in this girl Nikki, but I don't know much about that, so that might have something to do with it. I just hope he doesn't hurt anyone, or himself... It is really scary that you think he might hurt himself or someone else.
  2. [ Thanks for continuing. This is great. Especially the egg nog. LOL ]

Phil... yeah! Boring is good. You got lots accomplished. Which always helps when it comes to projects. Haha I wish I got lots accomplished. Most of my time was spend staring into space. Not really productive. I went to bed early last night because I had nothing better to do. Marius came back today, a lot later than normal. Turned out he got into a small car crash on his way over. No major damage to either him or the person he hit (or hit him, however it went), but his car is out of service for awhile. And pretty much everyone here is sick! Isn't this his second crash? Perhaps he should start thinking about riding a bicycle. The good news is that no one was hurt. 4. We will ride it together. That is as long as you don't mind me slowing you down. LOL I am not too familiar with places to ride in Europe, but I am educating myself. Riding in the USA is great because gasoline is so much less expensive than in Europe. The taxes are considerable less, making the gasoline about $3.00 US dollars per gallon. 1 gallon - 3.7854118 litres. My bike gets about 78 miles per gallon. Off-road my mileage was considerable worse, but well worth all the fun.
  5. Of course the picture is okay, and how cool!!!!!! HampsterKing has relaxed things a bit. Pictures are totally acceptable, HampsterKing is asking that the people be at least 18 years of age. If it is okay with you, I would like to show the picture to the Honda shop. They would love it. You have been to lots of places. I would like to have the ability to travel as much as you, a poor student, have done.
  6. Would be great. No kidding... it would be phenomenal! It's not that difficult because i'm very interested in it. It's fascinating what you can do with genetics. It's developing rapidly. The human genome project was supposed to be finished in 2015- and it was already finished in 2001. It cost 3 billion dollars. Today they told us in the lecture that there is a new technique in development which makes it already possible to sequence the human genome within one month for only 100000 dollars. In five years it will only take a couple of days and a few thousand of dollars to do it. Then it will be available for example in the medicine for personal diagnostics. Amazing, isn't it? The advances in science always amaze me. My mind cannot comprehend what advances we will have accomplished by 01 January 2100. Medicine continues to surpass itself due to all the research scientists. Each and every time I watch the launch of the shuttle or a rocket, I think of the dedication of all the people involved and how excited they must feel to see their fruits of their labour. When you look at the moon and think of humans walking around on it, to me that is incredible. Think of all the accomplishments in the field of genetics. Police can now pinpoint with total accuracy a criminal because of his DNA. You can track your heritage all the way back to the beginning of time. Next, we will carry around little chips that have our medical history on them and every human will be able to afford personal diagnostics. Totally cool. It's great to hear you are interested in the genetics field, I believe you will enjoy a career there. It's Glühwein. LOL... After I looked at my spelling error, I really started to laugh. Wine that is made from "glue"... or something along those lines. This made me laugh. I'm very curious. Posted before you wake tomorrow.
  7. This is Leguan's topic. I tried to merge the two topics and messed up.
  8. LEGUAN !!!!!! I am so happy to see you!!!!!!!! You have certainly been missed. Please pick a place, make a post and I will pin the topic for you. This way you are never lost and we can keep up with you. As for us... well, not much is new. I am riding my bike all over the place and sometimes wish I did not have to go to work. Perhaps we can ride together sometime. Your English is better than mine. So I am certain you are doing well in your studies. Genetics... wow, that is a difficult course of studies. Karneval... I wish I was there. Cologne is such a magnificent city and all the fall and winter festivals are the greatest fun. I love Gluewein (spelling?) on a cold night, it tastes so great. Not much else, I am getting my pictures ready to post, so please keep looking at my topic in HampsterDance Talk.
  9. A German one of course... BMW F650GS. I put on 8500 miles since I bought it 22 May 2007. Yesterday was such a great day, so much fun. If we move to Paris, I will definitely bring my bike! Of course, I plan to ride it all over Europe and more specifically, ride it to your town. Honda's are great bikes. We have a Honda cycle place about one mile from me. I would like to get either a BMW off road bike, KTM or some sort of off-road bike a bit smaller than the 650... perhaps a 400. Without the nobby tires, my back wheel was sliding in the sandy dirt. I started learning the art of standing and powering out of the dirt, but I need to start this manoeuvre on a beginner level first. The good thing about going down is that the sandy dirt was about one foot thick so you just kind of mushed in. Please post a pic of your bike. I have a couple from the beginning of the ride I will post here.
  10. Now this is a rare sight... ........NO YAHOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  13. Today I was supposed to be studying... but I got up at 05H00 and headed out the door before 06H00. It was really cold, with fog and some wind. I got to Orlando and was going to turn back, but after a cup of coffee, I had warmed up and decided to continue. Arriving at the on-road/off-road bike ride, I saw about 50 plus other bikes. We all headed out for an exciting day of fun riding. The dirt roads were really fun to ride on, but some places there was really deep sandy dirt. Lots of people went down, me included, and we hopped back on our bikes and continued on. Riding home was much warmer and I am glad I didn't get muddy. It will be great to do this again. There are some pictures on my camera. Those will come later.
  14. I saw "Dan in real life." and i think my mom said that it had the same girl who was in chocolat. ~Liz Did you like the Dan In Real Life movie? It was okay. Bad title though. Thanks. I will wait for the next one people rave about.

  16. I hope you do! The launch last night was really slow and really spectacular. The rocket had one million pounds of thrust! Sadly, that was the last Saturn rocket to be launched. I am going to shorten the video and ask HampsterKing to post it here. In the meantime, here are a bunch of photos taken with the cell phone. They did not come out to well.

  19. Ohhhhhhhhhh, how did I miss this! Leguan!!!!! I hope he posted!
  20. I just finished watching the movie "Chocolat" and it was truly wonderful. My rating would be five hamsters for a really beautiful movie. If you see it on the Tele, then please do take the time to watch it.
  21. Tonight is the last of the Saturn rockets. It is the heaviest of all and should go up pretty slow. Hopefully I will be able to take a picture of it for you all. I am charging my camera battery now so there are no excuses. The launch is scheduled to go off at 20H40, so as you can imagine, I will not be here from about 20H00 until 21H00 or so. Cross your paws that I get some great pics!!!
  22. All those songs at one time?  Whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Yeah and I keep mixin' up the lyrics I think you would. It's really weird.... Think how Cheesemaster must feel. LOL
