  1. You are most welcome. *gives Krisluvsdogs a really big hug*
  2. Is that it? Just three weeks? My expectation was something more along the lines of, 2 weeks, 6 days, 17 hours and 43 minutes.
  3. You outdid yourself. Thank you for being so creative.
  4. ***evil laugh*** yes it does! lol ~Liz *bbbuuummmppp*
  5. The heart in your siggy always makes my day.
  6. You are totally correct... except for the new part. Same stuff, just getting recurrent. We do ground school, have an oral exam, then go into Flight Training Devices (no motion), take a Procedures Validation exam, next is the simulator phase, then we take a Manoeuvres Validation exam, followed by two more simulator training sessions, finally an exam that simulates a real flight. That ends the simulator phase. You then go into the airplane for Initial Operating Experience, which is a variety of flights with a check airman and finally an airplane checkride. Currently, I am between the Procedures Validation and Manoeuvres Validation phase. Phew. I get tired just writing about it. I do some manuevers in flight simulators that would give some pilots a heart attack, not to mention those in the building I fly around. xD But yeah, that sounds like a lot of stuff to learn. I'm sure you will do fine! I'll pass on your manouevres thank you. Enough on my plate without having additional heart failure. Perhaps I can hold my breath from now until when I finish in March.
  7. JUNE 5TH !!!!!?????!!!!!!!!!????????!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my!!!!!!!! The good news is that you have been happy. Wait... this is not good news... it is phenomenal news!!!!! yeah June 5th. :/ haha yeah. I love the "new" me, some people get annoyed that I'm always so happy. It's really kinda funny. My boyfriend's always so great to me. He's helped me through this the whole way. He always makes sure nothing's bothering me. We've only been together for approximately 3 weeks but he still helped me through it cause we were good friends before we got together. Fantastic that you have such a great friend. Yeah... So my boyfriend hates the cold, and it's snowing today, so he went to his bus earlym and I didn't seem at all today and he texted me and was like "I miss you!!! :(" I was like "Aw, I miss you too, babe." Ha. Yeah... What a nice text to receive. It made me smile. So, how are you? How am I? Going crazy! I am in school and it is like turning on a fire hose and instead of water is stuff to learn. Plus you are in class for most of the day or starting at 05H00, where you have to get up at 03H00 or keeping you until midnight. Grrrrr. haha that made me giggle. yeah i have to get up and 5 lameee... I'm glad I could make someone laugh. Oh man, Best Valentine's Day of my life! Zach (boyfriend), got me a dozen red roses and a giant stuffed bear, that I named Muffin. Happy Valentine's Day everybody! Very cool!!!! Glad Zach took such good care of you today.

  9. Not one of my French teachers in high school! He said the classroom was a dictatorship. Which I guess is preferable, since at least your stuff is still your own. Anyway, I had an awkward moment when I was reading this e-mail about community service awards. One of the possible accomplishments that let you get an award was "promoted diversity or pluralism." Does this sound like a good thing to anyone? Maybe I am looking at it the wrong way, but what I see is either 1) people going around asking others to change their heritage, or 2) people going around in a community asking for similar people to leave so that they can "make it more diverse." And I think that kind of logic is going the wrong way with diversity (even if it is not exactly like my imagery). I do not think anything will be solved if the presence of diversity is "promoted". Most, if not all, of the issue lies in the way certain people think, having diversity forced on them will not make things better. Maybe it could make things worse. But I cannot say for sure. The way they wrote that does not sound too good. What I think of when I think diversity is to have cultural affairs where events are created and celebrated by all, that reflect the cultures of various heritages. For example: Cinco de mayo or Oktoberfest. Here are two events that add 'flavour' to a community. Another idea might be an evening of music from Greece or Africa. Or how about a multi-cultural 'music in the park' free afternoon concert. My mind could not comprehend what direction they were going and this was all I could think of. Most likely, I am not even close.
  10. Yeah!!! Outstanding!!! Here is a little pic to go along with your poem! It's a picture of me. Please visit the topic for my friend Nutzky, who is in Iraq. He would really appreciate your post. Here is the link: http://www.hampsterboard.com/board/index.p...c=5200&st=0 He is over there and his family is here, so any Valentine's Day wishes would be really great. Thanks.

Exactly!!! *grabs ahold of Jesse's tail and gets lost in the fur*
  12. Aw, that's adorable. Well, in the words of my friend Marius, "Happy generic love day!" You all wanted to see a picture of me, so here I am. Look pretty good for a three and one-half year old blonde hamster, don't you think???
  13. Nutzky... Happy Hammy Heart's Day !!!! Horatio
  14. Happy Hammie Heart's Day to everyone!

It just takes some time and experience for you to relax. This goes for everyone. If you can, ignore the horns. They seem to forget when they were first learning. Everyone is in such a big hurry to go nowhere fast. Oh yeah. They can get over themselves. Sometimes if I am feeling really ornery, when someone gets on the horn, I move even slower.
  16. WOW!!! Your car is pristing clean! Both the inside, which is immaculate and the outside, which is perfect. Hopefully your father can fix the oil problem. Looks like you bought a really fantastic car! Good luck with it. Actually, it has a rather large dent down the other side of it. Apparently, the first day the previous owners had the car, they managed to hit the side of their garage. But that's okay. It still works, and now I don't have to worry about if I smash the door into a shopping cart or something. Exactly. But your car still looks great, even if we only see the good side. The inside is really immaculate! Yeah, it's pretty decent. I'm happy with it. My mom got some seat covers and stuff for it too. If I get to the middle school really early (I'm planning on giving myself, like, an extra half hour to get there), I might work on putting those on. The only problems with the interior are that you can't see what some of the radio buttons say because the paint's worn off, and we can't figure out how to set the clock (it's 2 hours and 8 minutes fast, and neither instruction manual tells us how to fix it.) Other than that it's awesome though. Two hours and eight minutes fast... well, I would just accept the 8 minutes as being on time and deduct two hours. Blonde math. If I had to start deducting the eight minutes, then I would be late just trying to figure out what time it was. If you know how to set the radio, then just pick your favorite stations and forget about what the buttons say. On my car, it is 1 through 6 and then the same buttons stand for 7 through 12, if you select FM2. Well, if you think I can remember what stations are behind which button... not a chance. I just press buttons, when I listen to the radio, until I find a song I like. Usually though, I listen to the CD player. Do you have a CD player installed? I'll probably sharpie the labels on eventually. I don't have a CD player, but I do have a tape player. So I'm going to get a tape adapter for my mp3 player. Cool idea!!!

I think I'm going to go. It's really warm out now, so I think the mess should be all rain by now. I'm just going to give myself lots of extra time.... You'll do great!
  19. We have missed you!!!! How are you feeling????? Please next time you stop by, please make a post in my friend Nutzky's topic in Warm Wishes. Here is the link: http://www.hampsterboard.com/board/index.php?showtopic=5200 Thanks TBFOF!!! He would love it if you would include some of your awesome pictures.

    Jesse's topic

Yeah yeah, it's my own fault. Yes we had a snow storm last night, but my family up north had it worse. I've heard of some class cancellations but none of them were my own. Today it was vicious wind and rain when I was outside both times (thank goodness for portable umbrellas! I keep one in the side pocket of my backpack at all times). You are much better at being prepared than I am. For me, it is easier letting my fur get wet. That must be a shock for people there, I hope you will be safe on the road. It is a shock, but that is after they have wrecked their car. Today, I saw about 20 or so cars that were in accidents with three times as many police and tow trucks. My strategy is to leave uber early, take the back roads which are usually avoided by the maniacs, and get there safely. Thanks for your concern.

    Jesse's topic

Yay dean's list! And your topic is only dying because you're not posting in it. Did you guys get snow? Don't say that evil word... it is starting to snow here in Memphis. This is a bad thing, because these drivers can't drive when the pavement is dry, and they almost NEVER see snow. Haha oh boy.... Lots and lots of accidents. None of them included me, thank goodness.
