  1. Do you have a family doctor? If so, give him/her a call and describe the conditions. Who was your referring physician when you had your knee problem? Is this your family physician?

Whoo Hoo !!!! lol indeed. I just hope his grandparents let him come over. He failed multivariable calculus, and got D's and a C in some of his other classes, although it's mostly not his fault. Apparently he had some really awful teachers *thinks back to her own problems with her calculus and cell bio classes* and when you have awful teachers, you can try as hard as you want, and still not pass the class. And for at least one class, the textbook was bad too, so he couldn't even teach himself from the book. Plus the class average for most of those classes was at least close to failing anyways. But his grandparents just don't realize that he tries as hard as he can, and that he's upset about his grades too. Like I get it, and my parents get it, but his grandparents don't. So I'm hoping he manages to come over today if for no other reason than the fact that I'd be able to give him a hug, because I know he needs it. Give him two hugs. I do agree that teachers and textbooks can make all the difference in your being successful or struggling. Hopefully his grandparents will catch on, although I seriously doubt it. Some teachers are bad and then the way they grade their tests makes matters worse. If everyone in the class is struggling to make good grades, then something is drastically wrong. So... give him two hugs, He certainly needs the support. lol I probably hugged him at least 10 times. And he knows that he has my support, and the support of my family. At least he seemed in better spirits today than he did yesterday, but I can tell he's scared to see the full force of his grandparents' reaction. Hopefully they won't do anything too drastic..... I will cross my paws. Let me know what happens.
  3. You had been added. But thanks for asking.

  7. You always want what you can't have. This explains most of what you are going through. It will be great when you get away and are in college. I want you to post in the relationships topic then.
  8. Sign me up! Please let me know about the payment plans. Very well, our most common plan is a series of smaller deposits in advance of the course date, although we have also seen some who found individuals willing to loan them the money, usually in exchange for their services after completing the course. *applies for financing* *makes sure to screen financeers carefully.* *fills out application for financing* Wait, did you just apply twice? Duh... I'm a blonde hamster. What do you expect?

  10. You sound like a parent. I think I sound more like a financially misguided teen. xD Not at all.
  11. I call the flamingos! Jesusfreak... you take some beautiful pictures. TBFOF... you also take wonderful pictures... please post some.
  12. Oh TBFOF... I am so sorry to hear this. What I suggest is that you express your condolences by saying that you are very sorry for her loss. You don't need to say too much, just let her know how sorry you are. Perhaps someone else has some better words of advice. Well, she lives in Memphis, so I wasn't sure if I should call her up and say it, or just to leave it. And should I give her more...time? You could give her a call. I think she would appreciate your thoughts. If it just happened today, you could wait until tomorrow if you thought today would be too soon. You could always ask your mother for advice. She would be able to tell you if today was okay or tomorrow. Please stop in Warm Wishes and write a post to Nutzky for me please. He would greatly appreciate hearing from you. She has no idea. I'm not even supposed to know yet, or something. What if I send her a card, because when my grandpa passed, she sent me a card. And I'm a horrible speaker, and I laugh when I get nervous, I don't want to do that. I agree with Jesusfreak. Sending a card is an excellent idea. This is a great way for your to express your sympathy to her and her family. Aiiiiiiiight. Good. Haha, and I found a site that gives you 7 key points to address when writing letters of condolence. =] That sounds great. I would start by writing from your heart. Then use the points to shape your message.
  13. I'll let HampsterKing know. Thank you!!!
  14. Beautiful!!! Really wonderful and thought provoking. Thank you for posting these terrific poems.

lol already done. Thanks! I appreciate your post. No problem. I actually noticed his new post and replied right before I saw your post telling me to do so. Hopefully asking. LOL Thanks so, so much. Nutzky is over there until October. October, wow. That's both a long time and not such a long time at the same time lol. Oh yeah, yesterday. After going out for food with my family, I went over to Phil's house for his sister's graduation party (she just graduated from college), and it was a lot of fun. Phil's family is a lot like my mom's side of the family, only two or three times the size. So they were all really nice and really easy to get along with, and it wasn't awkward at all, which is something I was kinda worried about. What a great day for you yesterday! Congratulations to your sister! Graduation is always a great milestone to have behind you!!! Meeting Phil's family... PHEW! Glad that is behind you and it was in such a pleasant setting. That must have made things a whole lot easier. October... passes quickly unless you are over in Iraq. The summer will be brutal for them and hopefully he returns home to his family safe and sound. lol Phil's sister, not mine. My sister is a year younger than me. And I'm glad meeting Phil's family went well too. I know sometimes that sort of thing can be horridly awkward, but it wasn't at all, and I was quite thankful for that. It'll be interesting to see how Phil reacts if he gets to meet my extended family. And yeah, I can imagine that summer in Iraq wouldn't be fun times. >_  I'm so guilty of not totally reading. Haha it's okay. I do that all the time, but usually it's because I'm tired. It would be nice if I could use that excuse. I was totally wide awake. Haha You always have the "blond hamster" excuse. That's it!!! My blonde hamster fur blinded the words on the page. *hands Jesusfreak a cookiefun in appreciation*
