  1. I love that.... less than 2 months until Christmas!! ~Liz Don't remind me. It seems to be that I see two months to go and they speed by so fast that I am still running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get my shopping done.

Pirate shirt!!! That's what I'm leaning towards lol. XD I'm going to have to make it a point to bring another shirt along though since I don't want to be driving for 4 hours in a corset. Now that would be painful. lol it's actually not painful. Just after awhile it's mildly uncomfortable, and I don't want that for a 5 hour drive. Being a fluffy hamster, I would not want that for five minutes.
  3. Everyone who reads this topic, please go down to the Stories forum and check out Wannabeflmkr's topic, he just lost his best friend and could use some posts to help pick up his spirits. Here is the link to his topic: http://www.hampsterboard.com/board/index.p...mp;#entry145267
  4. Thank you for noticing. Actually, I have been reading all the posts by my phone, but unable to get to a computer. Lots and lots of great news and pictures to follow. I went to New York to help my friend clean out her mother's house, as it has been sold, and move some of the items to California. While there I was able to see Hampton and the Hampsters and hear them perform a couple songs from their new album which should be available soon. Then I went to see The 39 Steps, a play on Broadway, where my friend is the Stage Manager and got to go backstage after the show, meet the cast and get up on stage. That is the closest I will be able to ever be on stage as I have no talent whatsoever. What a very phenomenal play and getting to see the view of the theatre from the stage was awesome. Anyway, we finally got the movers there yesterday and they moved 90% of everything. Phew, what a relief. No internet access meant using my phone for everything. So, I am back in Memphis and tonight I fly to Lubbock, Texas. It will be quite nice to go to work where I get to rest. Pictures to follow. Glad to know you all missed me. Horatio Sounds awesome! I've seen the 39 steps, amazing show. I can't believe you got to go backstage! Glad you're back! Check out my Elton John review. ~Liz Ohhhhhh, if I had known you were going I could have gotten you backstage. You at least saw the play with the original play. There are two actors leaving. Today is their last performance and then the two understudies will take over the roles. So, you saw the best of the four. Can you believe it was only four actors? Phenomenal acting. I've been thinking of your Elton concert, so I will run down and see your review. And... hopefully more pictures. HampsterKing has increased the upload feature so I hope to get your video up.
  5. You just made me tired. Good luck in the next week... you will be missed.

  7. Oh my goodness... you have my deepest sympathies in the loss of your friend. I know just how much it hurts to lose your best friend. If you have a picture of him, please post it as we would love to see him. Again, I'm so sorry to hear you have lost a dear friend. Horatio

I'm heading off to bed now too!!! Sleep tight!
  9. Thanks! I was online to read, just that when I try to post, sometimes I am too fast in scrolling that I drop myself off-line. Wait until you see the pictures.

Do you have any pictures to show us? We would love to see some of the ballroom competition. Glad you had fun. 333 pictures? Incredible. I wouldn't remember taking any of the details when I had to post them. As for the midterm, I am certain you did great. You seem to be very well prepared. Great job on the 99 grade, that is fantastic. When you see Phil, I know you will have a great time, so nothing to say there.
  11. Your art work is fabulous! Glad you tried out your creative side.

    Jesse's topic

Glad to hear you are still alive and your classes are going well. That's great news! As for band, who is the better player? If the freshman is more talented and the better musician, then he deserves the first clarinet seat. As a young hamster, I played violin and had a little bit of talent. I sat the concert master seat, first chair, until I got to college. In college, my violin teacher sat Concert Master and I was second chair. It didn't matter who was the better violinist as she was already in the seat and was the one who judged the other musicians for the rest of the positions. That always bothered me, but it you allow this to make you quit, then you have only hurt yourself. Hopefully the person who was dropped down to third will not quit. Will write more later... I need a nap as the sun is out. Horatio
  13. Now that is a statement. I will be so excited for the day you are in university. You will be thrilled to see all the new people you meet.

  15. smile at the fact that he is a thing of the past.
  16. Joe the Plumber... I'm sure he didn't think he would be famous. At least both the parties recognized him. Why Joe the would-benefit-under-Obama's-tax-plan, hasn't-paid-part-of-his-income-tax, not-a-liscensed plumber though? Probably because McCain wants to accuse Obama of socialism. By the way, Horatio, did you watch the Simon Schama programme? The BBC version was not available for. Viewing in the USA.
  17. Whoaaaaaaaaaaaa.. How long is that drive?
  18. I can't see or hear you, so I wouldn't know. But I am wondering why your mother would say this. Is she joking?
