  1. I'm still impressed!!! *hands TBFOF The Red Rose Award for a phenomenal memory*
  2. Haha that's great! Where was this? New York City! In fact, I was able to take a couple other pictures... Was that yesterday? I was in the city yesterday! New York, that is. We refer to it as the city up here, but I guess it wouldn't make sense to you guys. True. Unfortunately I was not there yesterday, it was over a week ago. But I am heading back up to Brooklyn on Tuesday afternoon. Bummer. I would be going to Manhattan with friends Tuesday, but instead, I'm going to a youth leadership conference. I'll be up there for at least a week, perhaps longer. I'm free Saturday. Are you up here for business or personal matters? Personal. My friend's parent's house was sold, so we are cleaning it out. EEEEEEEK! What a job! Ooooh. Good luck with that! Don't drop something on your foot again! Great advice. Thanks for the advice. I remember you said you dropped something on your foot a few years ago, preventing you from running that Military Marathon thing, but I don't remember what it was... Great memory!!! I was chain-sawing a tree trunk and then picking up the pieces to put in the dumpster and dropped one of those on my foot. You have no idea just how upset I was to miss the Marine Corps Marathon. Hopefully I will not drop anything on my little paws.

  6. Her desire for a Palestinian state where the people of Palestine are able to prosper, excel and feel secure in their own state, would be great. But if they were to step out of line and threaten Israel, we are back to the same hostile situation where Israel is controlling another people.
  7. O RLY ????? YAH. RLY. LOL! ~Liz LOL I never would have guessed. It's not like it's blatantly obvious or anything.... ~Liz So, when's your next concert? Meh. I don't know. He's performing at Mohegan Sun in CT next month, but my mom says she's spent too much on concerts (What, like three in one year is a lot. ) So....I don't know. ~Liz Three concerts and how many plays? LOL Oddly enough, I don't think I've been in the city since Spring Break. BUT...Elton is going to be on "The View" on the 11th, so my mom and I are going to get there really really early and try to get into the studio audience. (I have the day off for veteran's day) AND my mom was looking on ebay and saw Billy Elliot tickets for monday night the 10th. So hopefully if all goes well, we can get those tix, see BE on monday night, get like 2 hours of sleep (LOL) and then line up for the view tues. morning. Cross your fingers for me! ~Liz *crosses paws for Dog Lover* Now that would be one cool day!!!!! I would say that you have one outstanding mother!!!!!!! Or.... You could just stay home and watch The View from the comfort of your own home, after a normal amount of sleep. That's no fun.
  8. It isn't quite halloween yet, but I can imagine that sight will greet my eyes at the concession speech of John McCain. Just as he's about to close up with his final remarks, Palin jumps him like a zombie. Hopefully John McCain is the person making the concession speech. There are lots of rumour that Palin has ruined his career. I blame the people behind him who forced him to adopt traditional Republican positions at the expense of his own views. As well as Palin, because she really deserves a lot of blame. Ahhhh Palin... she is already planning her run for the 2012 Presidency. She has not given any thought to what the Republican party might want. "Mitt Romney: The Governor Strikes Back" is one of my theories for the Republican primaries in 2012. "You betcha" it could end up being between the psychopathy of the Palin camp versus Romney's fixed grimace (or "smile" as I've heard it called), both of whom will seek to blame the other for McCain's failed Presidential campaign this year (aren't I being presumptive?). After all; Palin alienated about 60% of the country and a lot of Romney's advisers transferred from his campaign to McCain's when Romney packed it in. So that'll be fun. Quite whether the Republican Party will be in a fit state to contest an election in 2012 is a different matter; it all depends how quick they stop shooting at each other and blaming people over this year. I hope it goes on for a long time, because it gives satirists so much material. This year could be the death of the Republican party as we know it. What a mess! Had McCain made a better choice for the V.P. slot, the outlook might have been different.

  12. The question is: If you were able to vote, would you vote for said person?
  13. How fantastic you got an iPod with 50 dollars on the iTunes! That is phenomenal!!!!! Sorry you forgot about the Hampster Christmas album. Yea, there's like 11 songs I really want on meh Ipod that I don't have on CD. Ask for another iTunes card for Christmas.

  18. Thought everyone might like to see a picture of Santa, Hampton and the Hampsters.
  19. I love that.... less than 2 months until Christmas!! ~Liz Don't remind me. It seems to be that I see two months to go and they speed by so fast that I am still running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get my shopping done. I'm anxious for it to snow. My dad isn't. ~Liz I'm in agreement with your father. De-icing fluid ruins my shoes. You live in Florida... No snow there! I am listening to.. Yellow Submarine....but it's ending...now Octopus's Garden(Anthology version). Double Ringo! LOL. I have iTunes on shuffle.... ~Liz But yesterday I was in Lubbock and we had to de-ice the frost off the wings. Today I am in Philadelphia and tomorrow Chicago. Now that city is in snow territory! Lubbock? I will have to go look up where that is...Google Maps says is it is in Texas. Philadelphia is PA which borders on NY...you should have come and said hi! LOL And Chicago is where my dad grew up! I know it can get cold there.... ~Liz When you look up Lubbock, which you are correct, is in Texas, look up the elevation. I find that interesting. Philadelphia is lower PA and I would have never made it back for work. But the next time I am in New York, you can recommend a good play. Start thinking as I am to be there in about three days. Chicago was really cold at night, but during the day with the sun out, the cold was tolerable. Great play: BILLY ELLIOT!!!!!!!!!!!! I am DYING to see it but sadly I haven't yet. (In case you were wondering, it's Elton's latest muscial. I have listened to the soundtrack 50 billion times...and I'm really desperate to see it! BUt my mom's trying to find decent priced tix on ebay, so the wait goes on. There's a Girl Scout trip to see it, which I am most definitely going on, but that's not until spring and I can't wait that long. ' As to what I'm listening to, "Crazy Water" from "Blue Moves" (the album I got signed at the concert) ~Liz I need to give you the name of a great ticket site with the best ticket prices anywhere. Even better then ebay. Email me please! ~Liz I will. Let me reconfirm the site with my friend and currently she is unavailable. The reason is due to the fact that she is on the train traveling from Los Angeles to New York. She hates to fly so this was the next best thing. She should be in New York on Sunday.

Some days are just tougher than others. For me, they seem to occur when I am extremely exhausted... beyond tired. Luckily you were able to get online with Phil, that's the positive point of your day. Hope you got lots of junk food. Yeah, and I was pretty tired that day too. And Phil is amazing. Other guys need to take lessons from him or something. As for junk food, I got 3 bags of candy. I might go out again on Saturday to get more only on sale. LOL And I also got the pants I needed, just simple black leggings. As I told Kim and Lara (who came with me), "I haven't worn pants this tight since the 90's!" They're comfy though, and they'll be nice in the winter to wear under snow pants or long skirts. Candy, candy, candy! YES!!!!! I had to get my fur trimmed yesterday and while waiting they sat me next to this giant bowl of candy. :o :o Did they expect me to sit there and only eat one piece?????????????????? I was pretty bad... I must have popped about ten of those little bite-sized pieces into my mouth. It would have been in their best interest to seat me somewhere else. LOL That's why I like those cool weather running tights... keep your legs nice and warm.

Finally, I saw it snow for like a minute at the beginning of my lunch period. Then by the time the rest of my table had gotten there, it had stopped. So I was like "It was snowing!" and my friend was like "No it's not." LOL! And it was snowing a tiny bit when my mom drove me home from school....but then it stopped. I wonder when our first snow day will be...monday nov 10th would be nice, because we have the friday before and the tuesday after off, but not monday. So anyway....that's my snow news! ~Liz We had one of those Friday, Tuesday things. I hatedddddddd it! You guys seem to have a lot of time off! NOT fair! You could always clone yourself.
