  1. Horatio

    My place. :)

We missed you. Family matters can be stressful even though one is not impacted directly. We are hoping that things get straightened out for you and Phil this year. Nice to know that there is still something between you both, perhaps this next fall will see you both together again. Have a great weekend. We are holding you in our hearts.
  2. Lurking is okay, but we miss you. We wonder how life is treating you, how things are going or not going with Phil and when school starts again.
  3. Of course we do remember you!!! It is absolutely okay to disappear as long as you do come back. Catching up is easier than you think. We can sum everything up in a nutshell for you. That's why Cliff Notes are so good. It is much fairer if you come back than deprive us of never hearing from you again. So... how are you? What are you up to? What's going on in your life? As for me, same old stuff. Flying, sleeping, sleeping, flying, hoping to move to Paris, sleeping some more and occasionally riding my motorcycle. Pretty boring on my end. Please do show up, you can make this your own topic and you can post here with updates and we can keep in touch that way. Look forward to seeing you soon!!!
  4. *feels much better* Thanks Lexxy. *starts to get lonely again*
  5. How stressful!!!! I am so, so sorry that you are going through all this. What can we do to help you during this period of uncertainty and medical problems? Do my AP Euro homework?! Just kidding. I really need to get on that tho. No problem... I'll get right on your homework. This [A World Lit Only By Fire] is one of the most boring books I've ever read...although that isn't saying much. I could let you have a copy of the Federal Aviation Regulations. You would find a new standard for b-o-o-r-r-r-i-n-g.
  6. WOW!!! What an awesome three weeks!!! Your classes sound like they were extremely interesting and challenging. This must have been a totally phenomenal experience. Boston is an amazing city. You have so many universities in that area and there are a zillion really brilliant people walking around. How exciting that you were able to have three weeks to enjoy a new and mind expanding experience. M. C. Escher... I love his artwork. He is a genius with perspectives. Certainly you have made some new friends who you will see in the future. 4 weeks, actually. (3 weeks classes + 1 week motor building) Yes, it was quite awesome! And the Escher puzzles were fun but tricky because EVERYTHING was grey!! We did this one: and this one: but I mostly only worked on the first one. Yes, I did make a lot of new friends! ~Liz The second picture is one of my favorites!!!! It amazes me how all the men are walking up and down no matter how want to view it.

  8. These pictures are superb! Thank you for posting them. I love the Stata building. Great architecture is a love of mine.

  10. I was at Rachel's with Kaitlyn Sunday night, and she reminded me that you were at MIT? How is it!? She said you come home soon, right? It will be great when Dog Lover returns. We will hear all about her MIT adventure. I think she is having an awesome time. MIT ended on 25 July, and then I was in Maine until 4 August. I'll post more info in my topic... ~Liz Awesome! Welcome back!!! You were missed!!!!!!!!!! Pictures... we want pictures!!!

    Jesse's topic

Good to know that your brother is doing well. I wanted to open the view the movie, but the hotel computers would not allow me to open the file.
  15. Yeah!!! Jesse we await all your posts.
  16. [ Yes... you most definitely should. ]
  17. *gives TBFOF a hug* Health care really does need an overhaul. To me it is ridiculous that you have to go back to your pediatrician for a referral when the pediatrician knows exactly what is going on. GRRRRR. That's one of my major complaints with the health care system. Someone, somewhere should know how to diagnose you correctly and fix the problem. Hopefully you will find the right doctor on the appointment in Manhattan. With the age of the internet, you would think that a doctor could put up your symptoms, and perhaps x-rays, with no personal information, on a doctor's only website, asking for help in diagnosing the problem. If they would communicate with one another, perhaps they could find just one doctor who could diagnose you correctly. You are in our thoughts, heart and prayers for a fix to this health problem.
  18. That's the story of my life... a day late and a dollar short. But in this case... three year's late! Nothing slips by you. *puts a basket of micicles into Jesse's log*
  19. OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I'm sorrrrrry! I was getting really excited! Is there a reason behind that decision? Oh yeah... a million corporate reasons. French law regarding work visas, pilot duty times and other pilot factors, etc.. You would have thought that these details would have been worked out long ago. It is not like we are trying to just make the start up today. They have been working on this for years. Yeah seriously. *hugs* Sorry things didn't work out. >_ Thanks! I am following the train of thought that 'things work out for the best'. Now to find out exactly what 'the best' is. Maybe next year? Whenever the company works out the details that caused them to cancel the bid. Date... who knows.
  20. NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
