Sugar is in fact part of the food groups, because, after all it is food. XD However, it is one of those things in moderation as mentioned earlier. It's okay to have sugar, but going overboard will just turn the sugar into fat. Also, too much sugar can cause diabetes. Diabetes is not good. You can lose your eyesight, go into a coma, and/or die. So sugar is okay in moderation. Not having enough carbohydrates is bad as well, though. Besides, you can reward yourself on a rare occasion with high sugar foods, and then you enjoy it more. ^.^ Moderation??? When it comes to sugar????????? I don't think so. LOL And this is how you end up a tubby hammy.
