I have a friend who cuts. but, she has no intention of suicide. she is a masochist (enjoys inflicting pain on herself.) something about pain releasing adrenaline, triggering a release of endorphins. but she has a really horrible home life. parents aren't quite ideal. (understatement of the forever) and she does clean every cut. with rubbing alcohol.
