  1. LOL Eh, it's true enough. My shopping list had salsa, fresh basil, and cookies. The first two things weren't there. I'll probably end up there again tomorrow because dad wants ant traps.
  2. Uh, what? Maybe he's afraid to blame Bush for it? I bet gas prices would be lower if we started turning to other sources of power, like nuclear. Wind, solar, geothermal... lots of options. The problem is that everyone 'says' they want alternative forms of energy, but they want someone else to do it and they do not want it in 'their backyard'. I know. >_> And I think those giant windmills actually look really cool. They could make a wind park or something. It could be awesome. I think my dad told me the best idea. Make a GINORMOUS (like a mile across) solar panel, and put it in outer space (apparently there's a safe way to beam down electricity, I'll have to get dad to explain to me how that works). It's not in anyone's back yard, and it's above the atmosphere so you don't have to worry about rainy days.
  3. No leg. I need two arms for more things than I need two legs for, I think. TV shows or movies? Television! Fake fur or real fur? fake! truth or dare? truth hamsters, or dancing?
  4. So, my legs are feeling much better today. I slept until noon, and then went to my bank to cash/deposit a check, grandma's bank to deposit her check, the post office for stamps, and then the grocery store to buy cookies say hi to Phil. Next on the list of fun things to do is cleaning the pool and mowing the lawn, which I'm going to see about maybe doing tomorrow.

  7. Cool! Thanks! The iPhone is amazing when you realize these are pictures it takes. Not too many options, but if you only want to carry one item, the iPhone makes life simple. Wow, that is really impressive for a phone.
  8. I agree, although I prefer skiing.
  9. Drove back from church, made soup, and chatted with my dad.
  10. VBS = vacation Bible school. It's fun times. Although I'm gonna have that theme song stuck in my head forever..... Oh, and four year olds (like most kids, I think) are way smarter than most people give them credit for. Most of the time anyways. Best line of the day: "He had his eyes open when we were praying!" My legs are still killing me from that bike ride though. This might take a few days to go away. >_<

    Hadoooo.

Um..... Don't worry, that was on purpose. Or should that make your more worried? Not sure. Last I checked, sewing yourself is painful and only required in case of already extensive injuries. Right then. I actually used to get sew and sue mixed up when I was younger. I like to mess around with "so" and "sew." Usually when someone just says "So" with nothing after that, I reply with "buttons."
  12. Yes, wild blueberries are WAAAAAAY better than store bought ones. Also, my kayak is at camp, where the water was quite lovely. I got to see Phil today, actually. He and Jazzy were going for a bike ride to blockbuster to return something and asked if I wanted to come along, and I said sure. (In retrospect, seeing as it's in the 80's today and I have a car, it probably would have been intelligent to drive down, but I needed the exercise. Oh also, blockbuster is on the far other side of town, and the area near where I live has hills.) It was a lovely ride though. I was all sorts of sweaty and gross by the time I got back, but a nice cool shower fixed that. Now my legs just really hurt, and aren't very stable. This is going to make VBS interesting.

  14. Pets are a lot of work, and I don't have time for any new pets. Eventually I'll probably have a cat or a dog. Cats are easy enough to care for, and dogs are just cool.
  15. Um....one word of advice: be careful about naming names here. If anyone was following my topic about a year ago, you read some posts about what happened to me, where the little sister of the guy I liked googled his and my name, and found my topic, and told him about it.....yeah.
  16. *sings, "Anyways, this cake is great...."* Mmkay, so, this weekend was actually pretty nice. On Friday on the way up to camp we picked up a washing machine for the cabin, which was good. On Saturday night I went to wal-mart while dad was at home depot to pick up some things mom wanted. Yesterday I helped dad take down a fan, and then escaped to go kayaking before any further work could be imposed on me. All sorts of interesting people out on the lake yesterday (the whole park area is a big tourist destination). One guy purposely flipped over in his kayak (he was practicing getting in and out of his kayak in the water, apparently). Later on, one guy in a family on the shore waved at me, and another one asked if I wanted some watermelon. Oh, and there were wild blueberries, which made for good snacking. I was also able to talk to Phil all day yesterday (yay IM forwarding), which was good. Today starts VBS. I need to find a t-shirt to put those iron on transfers on.....
  17. I just remembered that I have funfetti cake here. I'll be back shortly....
  18. Sweeeeeet. Topics like this are fun times.
