  1. He is rare! I still do not know how to do the screen capture! I did it differently than they do it (my dad showed me how). I just opened up paint shop pro, hit shift and C at the same tme. Then I right clicked, and dragged a box around what I wanted, and clicked again. Yeah. I don't have Paint Shop Pro, , I have a different program and I do not have a right and left click. Only one click button. Yeah? Are you sure? You're mouse doesn't have two mouse buttons?!? Horatio, I think it's time to get a new mouse. I think my mouse is in Tennessee. The laptop has just one clicker. No left and no right. In fact it has been soooooooooo long since I used my mouse. Besides you PC people just wish you could be Macs! That's weird. My laptop had two clickers.

  3. The weird thing is, I don't. My hair is so thick that it comes out sorta short and fat. I hope to grow it long enough to have decent looking braid though. Your hair is so beautiful, that what you need to consider is the following. If you grow your hair really long, when you decide to cut it, braid it, put a hair tie at the top part, but NOT next to your head (a couple of inches below where you want to cut it) and another at the very end of the braid. When you cut this, you can donate your hair to the American Cancer Society and they will use it to make a wig for a young person. I've done that before. A lot of hair salons participate in the locks of love program that donates your hair to make wigs. Apparently real hair wigs are super-expensive. I am so impressed you have participated in that program. You are such a wonderful person! Aw, thanks! But seriously though, what was I going to do with it? Say "no it's mine, I want to put it in a zip lock back and keep it forever?"

  5. *is very, very excited* I don't read manuals. I am a try it, have major problems (which could have been avoided by reading the manual), then try and fix whatever I messed up! There pics are perfect. I am off again to try these things. Be back. lol I find that it's much easier to teach people how to do things when they can see it. That's why we do science labs. Maybe later i'll find some more messed up pictures. Messed up pics... I can supply you with lots and lots of those! LOL If you post them, I might be able to tell you what's wrong with them.

  7. Another thing to keep in mind is that starving yourself might help you loose weight, but it's way harder to keep it off. The best way to lose weight is excercise. My sister lost a lot of weight by swimming. Now that it's nice out, go for a walk. Excercise is good for your mind too. (Oh, and read the ingredients labels in your energy drinks, lots of them have caffeine)

  9. Not sure how rare HK is, but I learned how to do screen capture!

  11. Okay, here are some examples of the picture stuff I was talking about: Color VS. Black and white or sepia Stuff getting in the way of your picture (an electrical cord here) Using flash on close up objects Using flash on moving objects (or while you're moving, I was spinning in circles as I took these) VS. No flash Hope that helps solve some problems.
  12. You deserve The Red Rose Award for this info! I just learned a bunch of things I didn't know! Thanks!!! I also baked some wonderful cookies for you as an additional thank you! Aw, thanks!
  13. You did great! I love all the pics! You are so pretty! I really love the tree in the snowstorm. I would love to have that one on the front of note-cards! And NO... no deleting the others. This just makes it even better! Aw, thanks! lol, and now that I think of it, leving the others is probably a good idea in case anyone else has the same problem. Great idea! I won't have to worry when I get my new computer! Hopefully by the end of the week. *makes room in my cage* Ooh nice! So yeah, out of all this I've determined that if you get a page can't be displayed message while trying to upload pictures, then your pictures are too big. You need to click the add attachment button (I knew that one). And add to post lets you position the picture anywhere in your post, just like clicking a smiley. Maybe I'll add my photo taking tips that I posted on a different website. or maybe I'll just post a how to add photos/photo taking tips topic. *goes to do that* I just read that new topic! I am impressed! Thanks. No problem. It's all the stuff I wish people had told me when I first started out taking pictures.

  15. Hm... currently Chase Around the Windmill by the Cheiftans.
  16. How to add photos: 1. Click "browse." A window should show up. Find the picture you want, and double click it. 2.Then click "add this attachment" a file name and it's size should appear near the browse button. (if you get a "This page can not be displayed" message, then your picture is too big; try cropping or resizing it.) 3. You can post it as it is, or you can click the "add to post" button next to your file. This should put something like "attachment 1234" inside of brackets. you can move that around just like a smiley. Here's some tips on taking pictures: 1. It's easier to brighten a picture than to darken it. Try not to use flash if you don't have to, especially if you are close to what you're taking a picture of. When you brighten a picture, also try adjusting the contrast to make it less washed out. 2. Use the action/moving objects/speed setting on your camera if it has one (mine looks like a little guy running). This will make your pictures less blurry. If you don't have one of these settings, use flash (but don't stand too close to your subject). 3. Don't like the way you look in pictures? Edit your pictures (or use the settings on your camera) to make your picture black and white or sepia (brown and white). It makes a huge difference! 4. Does your smile always look fake? Think if something funny and laugh. 5. When you use flash, it lights up everything near your camera, including rain, snow, confetti, string, or other stuff that you might not notice or think of. So instead of picture of your friend in the rain, you'll get a bunch of shiney dots. The picture of the snowy tree in my photo album was taken with flash. 6. My favorite photo editing software: Picasa (you can get it free from Google, great for foolproof editing) and paint shop pro (not free). If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

  18. Here are a few colours that go great with teal... bronze or copper, pewter, magenta and a yellow orange (like the sunrise). lol you should have told that to my senior class. I personally voted for black and black. For some reason black and teal (our actual school colors) weren't an option to vote on. Black and teal is great! Of course, I stayed away from black so that I didn't seem so dark and retro! When they did black and teal before the girls wore teal. Last year they did black and white. I would have voted with you on the black and black. That would have been very cool! At least it would have been somewhat normal. And it could have been even more formal! lol Speaking of formal, our prom is coming soon. I still need to see if my hair looks decent curled, and I need to get a purse and a shawl. You have beautiful hair. I figure no matter what you decide to do, your hair will look fantastic! Good luck finding a shawl and purse. If you can't find what you want, you can always look at the gown shops where they sell the formal dresses. Sometimes they have some shawls... of course, in limited colors. Easy for you to say. The biggest problem with my hair is that there's way too much of it. I got out of the shower over an hour ago, and my hair is still wet. Maybe I can get my mom to go shopping tomorrow. The trick with finding a purse is getting it to fit my camera and my cell phone. I'm sure I'll find something. At the moment, however, I need to go to sleep. We always want what we can't have. Have you ever heard of thinning shears? Your hair stylist can use them and you will like the results if you are really unhappy. lol every couple of years I get it cut really really short. It's nice an comfortable in the summer, but it makes me look like a boy. It's not that bad though. I generally keep a hair tie around my wrist so I have it when I need it.
  19. This is getting stupid. You guys are all acting like brats making catty remarks. I'm not going to argue with people that aren't going to be respectful, so when you guys want to have a civilized debate, you can find my in my topic in Fuzzy.

  22. Wow, those pictures are a lot bigger than I thought. I reduced the height and width both by 50% on all of them except the kitten picture, which I simply cropped.
