  1. Nah, my parents insist that most of it stay the same color it already is. My current (parent approved) idea is to iron on small pictures on the pleats in the front. That way most if it is still white, but at least the main body of it has some color to break it up. Now I need to find what pictures to use...
  2. Okay, so I have a problem. The stupid people in my class voted for teal and white as our cap and gown colors. Us girls have to wear white. There's two problems: 1. I'm white (fairly pale too) and when I wear that gown I'm going to look like the ghost of graduations past. 2. The things are practically see through, and I don't have white dress to wear under it. So I want to decorate it so it's not all white. my first idea was to have my friends all sign it all over with sharpies, but my mom says no because she thinks it's too tacky (but blue hair was okay ) My second idea was to print out some of my favorite pictures on iron on transfer sheets and iron them on, and she didn't give any answer other than "I'll talk to your father about it." So I need some nice idea to make my cap and gown not completely white. One restriction: it has to be easy and not take too long, because I heard we only get our cap and gowns the day of graduation at rehearsal. So...any ideas?
  3. Aw, thanks! The first pic is my front yard, the other two were taken at where prom was (not my back yard )
  4. Okay okay, here's some ppg pics. This first one is currently the featured pic on the USPPA website! Red Bull came and sponsored us. And the rest of these are just kinda neat... And this is ribbon tag: I should have some prom pics in a little bit.
  5. I expect pictures! lol I will definately try to do that.
  6. Yup. If people weren't so greedy, both anarchy and communism could work perfectly.
  7. The oil companies will not do anything about alternative fuels until they have destroyed the Alaskan Artic Refuge by scarring the land, destroying migration patterns and ruining every beautiful park. Perhaps they might want to destroy Yellowstone or The Grand Canyon. I am heart-broken at the politians and oil companies ruining Alaska. We should have found alternative fuels ages ago. lol they won't stop using fossil fuels until they stop getting money from it. But yeah, there's a LOT we could be doing to help. Use solar panels for commercial and government buildings, put windmills over lanfills, build more nuclear power plants, use hydroelectricity in sewer lines...the ideas are endless. If you ever want to go to one of the most magnificent places in the world, you need to go to Alaska before it is totally destroyed. Chicago is planning on installing four wind generators on top one of their buildings. Hopefully this will be successful. *crosses paws* I would LOVE to go to Alaska! It looks so cool! I think my great grandmother lived there. How outstanding! You ought to try and find out where she lived in Alaska. There are some magnificent places to visit. One thing I do recommend... go in the summer! lol, or maybe fall. I don't generally mind the cold. I love skiing. Unless she happened to live in Barrow, then I believe it can pretty nippy. I know Fairbanks is known for winter temperatures in the minus seventy to minus eighty range. Barrow is further north! Good thing you love skiing... you probably would be doing quite a bit of it... and not the downhill kind. LOL Yup, that's why a lot of people there drive snowmobiles to work. A lot of the roads aren't even paved, because they're covered in snow most of the year. It would be so cool to see the northern lights!

  11. XD Yes, ethanol is drinking alcohol. Not sure if you know this, but drinking alcohol has lots of calories in it ( they say 1 can of beer=the same number of calories as a sandwich). Those calories that get burned as car fuel are what power the cars, so it's actually a pretty effective fuel. But get this...on the news this morning they were talking about water powered cars!
  12. Add extra pumps I guess. The only problem with the bio fuel is that if some freak plague hits whatever plant they use, we're in deep fecal matter. But otherwise it's cheaper, cleaner, and we don't have to worry about depending on other countries. I heard that cars that run on bio fuel smell like french fries.
  13. LOL Ohhhhhhh, I don't mean to laugh, but that is exactly what would happen to me. lol yeah, it wasn't really either of our faults. The bus driver didn't realize that our school's clocks are slow, some teachers let their kids out early, and that mine doesn't. He showed up at real-world 2:30, saw kids come out, didn't see me, and left. you would think the bus company (that thinks we get out at 2:20) would know better and tell their drivers that. Your solution is too sensible. Why would the bus company want to accomodate the students (customers)? *laughs* Meh, it probably has something to do with costing too much money. Sometimes I wish I was like 10 different people. One would get her doctorate and become the superintendant of schools, one would get a business degree and run the bus company, one would become the president... I would vote for you for president! Yeah, but I'm one of them "crazy Christians" no one would vote for me. I believe you would be pleasantly surprised at all the votes you would have received. lol maybe, but then I would probably be asassinated. NEVER!!! You would make an outstanding US President! BTW, what do you think of Al Gore and his film career. Interesting note, Gore spouts off about the environment and how we need to protect it, but in Tennessee he and his father are the worst offenders of destroying the environment. Currently, in the state of Tennessee, Gore and his father are doing more damage to the environment than all the other businesses combined. nice. We're learning about alcohols and alternative fuels in Chemistry right now. Ethanol is looking better and better.

  16. Seriously, I can wait. But unseriously... it is my job to give you a hard time! *cracks the whip* lol Yeah, but it's gonna keep bugging me until I get it done. I've got pictures from other stuff I need to take care of too...not to mention the videos I need to put together... Do your parents loan you out? Perhaps you will work for food! I have about four boxes of pictures and two boxes of negatives to go through. *gets shredder ready* Yeah, we're really bad with getting film developed. we have a whole box of undeveloped film. Every once in awhile we get a few developed, and it turns out to be pics from like my first day of kindergarten or something. We must be related. I finally got around to getting a couple of rolls of film developed and I thought they had mixed them up because I didn't recognize any of the pictures. The film was about 6 or 7 years old. I was surprised it was still able to be developed. lol yup, but my first day of kindergarten was like 12 years ago. That's impressive.
