How about micicles? This is Jesse's topic after all. Even if he doesn't post in it often enough *pokes Jesse*
  4. The difference, I believe, is that some of the friends you make in college will remain lifetime friends. I hope so. They're a great bunch of people. Today some of us went to yoga, and then hing out in Lindsay and Steph's room to watch TV. Now I'm trying to read a history book with no lights because my roommate is sleeping. Ask your parents to buy you one of those itty-bitty book lights. They work great. The light clips on to the cover of the book and unfolds to reach high enough above the book so that you can read both pages of a large book at one time and turn the pages without hitting the little light. Great invention!!! The light coming from the computer was good enough. Today we went out shopping, watched tv, ate dinner, and played video games. I pwned at mario kart, even though I never played the game cube version before (I only have an N64 ) Then i went back to my room, chatted online with my friend Marius, took a shower, and now I'm going to sleep soon. Tomorrow some of us are going to some Chinese festival. Some of my friends apparently get extra credit in their Chinese class for it. I would definitely sign up for the classes that give extra credit for going to festivals! lol really. When we got back we ate dinner and watched TV again. Story of my life. I've got tons of work to do tomorrow though. o.O I would offer to help, but that probably would not do you any good. lol that's okay. I got it done around 11, and then went to hang out in my friends' newly assembled room. (My friend Marius had an awful roommate that didn't exactly have good hygiene, and moved into a triple with Brennan and Mike. He's much happier there.) Today I think I only have history and BHP work to do. Ugh... bad hygiene. That could drive anyone out! Yeah. His whole room reeked (his old room) He took a lot of his stuff home and put it in the basement to "defumigate" it. I wonder what they're up to right now...
  5. I really need to get some more pics up here. The problem is that most of the pics I take are of other people. Do we have any word yet on posting pics of our 18+ friends? (and what if they already have pics of themselves posted on other websites?) Ooh, I know what I can put! My physics homework! It's not a photo, but it's still kinda neat.
  6. Sounds like a great get-away place. What are your seasons like? I'm guessing you don't get snow, and the flowers and leaves are always there...that's so hard for me to imagine. Anyway it was great weather today for me to bike 15 miles. Wow, that's a long bike ride! Right now it's dark out, and fairly warm. Any mosquitoes??????? I've only seen a few around here. Either we're far away from swamps or mosquito season is over (or I haven't been spending enough time outside ) I'll send a bunch up. No no, that's quite alright. The cool thing about lots and lots of mosquitoes is that I can put up some bat houses and there are lots of dragonflies! Plus in what used to be my swimming pool and is now an extremely large frog pond, the little critters are so happy to feast on mosquito larvae. lol nice. I love bats, frogs, and dragonflies. Anything that eats mosquitoes is fine by me. Well, I didn't send all the mosquitoes up to you, I wanted to share between you, Cheesemaster and Glowurm. I love the bats, dragongflies and all the critters who roam around outside my cage. Currently I have a large mouse or small rat, not sure which, inside the cage. Of course, being a relative, I am feeding him or her and we are getting to know each other. If I can, I will get a picture. Unfortunately, after we become friends, he or she will be relocated to a nature preserve to live out the rest of it's life. My cage is not big enough for the two or more of us. Who knows how many others there are in the house. Ooh fun. Currently the weather is chilly and overcast. Typical october up here.
  7. I agree. >__> Wha'f you were like, playin' Metroid Fusion while talking in Arkcher-man style? I need to come up with an official name for that... thing, way of speech, language, I dunno. i dont even know what it is. XD *~*the Grand Illusion*~*The Final Cut*~* Just Call it Arkcher-speak, man. Pff. Stoopid peaple's. *~*The Psychedelic Luau*~*The Astronomy Domine*~* How about Arkish? ...if you ever wanted to put MK's siggy through a meat grinder.

really good cake = lemon jello poke cake. You make a yellow cake, any brand, really. When it is done, you poke a bunch of holes in the top with a fork, and pour lemon jello over it. let it soak in, and put it in the fridge overnight. Next morning, put whipped cream on top. SO GOOD! That sounds really good! I guess you could do that with any flavor of jellow and cake really. Chocolate cake and strawberry jello sounds really good.

My dad is a mechanical engineer (even though his degree is in aerospace ) Yeah, dad likes sour things, like those sour Altoids candies. We usually make a lemon birthday cake for him, and mom adds extra lemon joice to the mix. It's really good!

    Halloween.

I'm pretty sure me and my friends are going to dress up just for fun. I'm thinking either a fairy or my renaissance costume, depending on the weather.

You'll get in. You're too smart to reject. That's the day after my dad's birthday. Wierd. I still need to buy him something... Well then, you're dad's birthday is the same day as a math team event. Not that he would care much. Being an engineer, he might appreciate that. So far I got him a calendar featuring scenic outhouses (camp joke). I want to see about finding him some lemon cookies or something else he likes too. He's a tough one to get gifts for, because he doesn't play golf and hates wearing ties.

Hm...Jesse needs to get online more often....
  20. Yeah, I'm having fun, but there's waaaay too much homework involved. I'm enjoying my new crazy friends though. They remind me of my high school friends, which is really cool.
  21. You could always say your pet fish, Alpha, ate it. My homework is a lot bigger than Alpha is. He has friends, doesn't he? No. Male betta fish aren't very nice to each other (hence the proper name "saimese fighting fish"). So Alpha lives by himself in his spiffy box. Well, how about a girlfriend? That's a thought... You could always upgrade his tank and put toys in there. you know, if he had a girlfriend, there would eventually be a swarm of babies to help with the consumption of the homework. Very good point!!! Yeah, but male betta fish are violent towards each other. Oh well. Oh, i need to feed Alpha. Good thing I read this. o.O Yeah. Sorry I haven't been on in the past couple of days. Life's been super busy.
  22. Yeah, it brings back memories of a topic called "The Pyramid Game." I think LifesEagle started it. The idea was to see how far you could quote something. On this board once you quote too many times it turns into gibberish though. :glare: LOL... that was great!!! I think we had about 32 or more quotes in one post in that topic. Here the limit is 10! That makes things so confusing. It is even worse when I try to answer two posts, separately, in the same topic, one right after another, it will always combine them into one post. That is worse. I need to answer the one post, leave the other one in the queue, go to a few different topics, then put the computer to sleep and then return and it will then allow me to post a reply not combining the two. On occasion, it decides to combine them anyway. Grrrrr! You could ask HK to raise the limit to... like... higher than 10. It's possible. and like, can be done, even. 'Might not get done this year, but it'll probably happen someday. XD This is why Horatio should be admin'd.
